Can anyone believe that the US military hospital at Germany (alone), the
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, announced that 20,802 troops have
been treated at Landstuhl from injuries received in "Operations Iraqi
Freedom" (occupying Iraq) and "Enduring Freedom" (occupying Afghanistan).

"Wounded" means harmed in combat, usually by some sort of weapon.
The number quoted is for *injuried*, which includes the above wounded
and the people hurt in accidents, people who get severely ill, and
anyone else who needs to be removed from the Theater for medical
treatment.
