All in all, like it or not, the ACLU has done more good than
perceived bad over the years.
Probably. But their sympathy toward anything on the right is

comes to defending the Bill of Rights. In addition to supporting

Fact is, "ACLU" as Lefty is nothing but a
right wing myth, perpitrated by morons like
Bush, Ashcroft, and Limbaugh who think only
like-thinkers deserve the US Constitution
and its Bill of Rights.
These people are not ruled by logic, they
and their supporters are rulled by the
doggie instincts.

You don't think we need observers in the media? Or do you only
want those that don't observe too well? Limbaugh, too, has done a
lot more good than bad.
I've always said, I agree with 90% of what
Limbaaa says. But you fail to grasp the concept
that a tiny amount of poison spoils the best of
meals. He's a scumbag traitor to America the
Good. He teaches that reality is only a matter
of (political) opinion.
Because of him and that, and his embracing the
doggie instincts, we have this:
* For "bush lies", I got 30,300.
* For "Clinton lies", I got 4,400.
* Without the quotation marks, I got
* bush lies = 1,840,000
* Clinton lies = 829,000
Why? Without the quotation marks, it's watered down,
it's far less specific.
Dictators subvert representative government, they
ignore the will of the people.
Philosophical question
Is a ruler who rules via deception, any less a dictator
than one who rules via terror?
The best liars fool even themselves. Remember the tearful
woman pleading that the kidnappers return her two babies,
when in fact she had already drowned them in a lake?
This degree of self-delusion is not uncommon.
Often compulsive liars can't tell the difference between
a lie and the truth. They just want it so bad, reality is
subsumed by their desire, by their story. Reality simply
is not a contender. Truth is zero, or worse, truth can be
interfering smut, truth is filth to the chronic liar who must,
must, must, have his story believed. It's a personality
defect....A defect which unsaid, in its foundation, must
assume weak or non-existent moral character.

So? Is this why Republicans feel no outrage at being played
for suckers in the longest string of obvious lies ever recorded
in modern times? They just want their agenda so badly,
reality is subsumed by their desire?
And the pretty lies continue. And the Bush supporters
just toss out their moral outrage pretending that they just
don't care about honesty, or that they've been played.
They pretend that ra-ra team loyalty is more important than
goodness, more important than our vision of America the Good.
They pretend that partisan victory is more important than
the noble American values and goals we all learned in school.
More important than America itself. Where is their patriotism?
Have they no pride?
