Hitler's mother was seriously considering an abortion, but was talked
out of it by her doctor.
It is my understanding that Leonardo Di Vinci's mother faced the same
decision and was encouraged to abort because of birth defects that ran in
her family.

Da Vinci is one of my idols, and I heard a story years ago that included
Hitler and Da Vinci and the situations their mothers faced.
