If you are missing a cerebral cortex, you will never recover
conciousness, simple as that.
If you can illustrate that she can track motion with eye movements,
then you might have a point (hint: posting a single picture does not
prove that, I don't think I should have to explain why, but if you ask
nicely, I will).
I don't have a problem with her being kept alive, but if the parents
are making the case that she will ever recover conciousness and should
be kept alive for that reason, they are wrong.
