A deluded one might. Or one who was playing along in a game of
make-believe, like younger kids trick-or-treating in costumes. (Not
that I admire either "Skull & Bones" or Bush. Just making a point in
response to your question.)

Let's see if I have this straight.
On abortion:
You support a loathsome agenda that unabashedly seeks to
impose IMMENSE hardship upon no fewer than tens of MILLIONS
of women by FORCING childbirth upon them. AGAINST their will.
Resulting in the DENIAL of their rights... their RELEGATION to
second-class-citizen status... their INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE to
mere, NON-sentient, Stage 2, 3, and 4 reproductive-process entities
which are, in all important ways, equivalent to the Stage 1 entities
that you so *hypocritically* do NOT "defend"-- which *also* are
human, unique, alive, and comprise a stage of development without
which NO births would occur. UNwanted entities which the WOMEN
very sensibly, under their circumstances, often regard to be parasitic.
Further manifestations of that hardship would be the DISRUPTION
of their well-being, both short-term and long-term (as in, for decades
or a lifetime)... and the DESTRUCTION of countless of their oppor-
tunities.
And on gay rights:
You support discrimination, and the *denial* of across-the-board
EQUAL rights (including the right of any non-family-member person
of marrying age to marry his.her partner of his.her choice; nowhere
does the Constitution provide for discrimination based upon gender)
to people based solely upon what they choose to do in PRIVATE
with their partners? In 2003, in "Lawrence vs. Texas," the U.S.
Supreme Court very sensibly and prudently, and backed by the
U.S. Constitution, kicked government OUT of Americans' bedrooms.
And... do you regard homosexuals to be sinful, based on the Bible?
Well, there's a rock pile (i.e., an ammo dump of discrimination and
bigotry) over there. Pick some up and start stoning those gay folks...
right *after* you've provided all of us with documentation that *you*
are sinless. If you can't, then you might do well to remember that
the Bible neither authorized or appointed anyone to be **enforcers**
of its precepts. God/Jesus/the Bible initiated NO Gestapo.
And finally, have you asked yourself THIS? Suppose that there
were a gay couple (i.e., two males or two females) living in a town,
who had been cohabiting for several years. Then same-sex marriage
becomes legal (as happened in Massachusetts, and across all of
Canada), and the partners marry each other. HOW does this have
ANY adverse effect upon any **opposite**-sex married couple in that
town? The states (and Congress) which have passed it call their
pro-discrimination-against-gays law, euphemistically, the "Defense of
Marriage Act." "DOMA," for short. Claiming that denying gays the
right to marry their same-sex partners somehow "defends" so-called
"traditional" marriages. Hmmm. Really? **Against** WHAT? Just
HOW would the probable maximum of less than four-tenths of ONE
percent of the American people choosing to become same-sex married
couples do ANY harm whatsoever to "traditional" (i.e., opposite-sex)
marriages? (Oh. And by the way... almost ALL of the sexual practices
that are engaged-in by gay couples *also* are practiced by countless
tens of millions -- or, worldwide, hundreds of millions, or even a billion
or more -- of "straight" people.)
Thus -- these are VERY Un-Christian agendas.
But you say you *agree* with them.
I have a Yule-Log Extractor I'd like to sell you. I'm told it works
especially well when employed to remove the log from one's eye.
I am not even sure those are his real views. Its called voting for
the lesser of two evils. BUT I DID NOT VOTE.
