If you saw the treaty, it was ultra-crappy.
Now I'm confused? What's the issue?
Some months ago Bush divorced some Kerry remarks from
their context and tried to pretend that Kerry was against
free trade.
Well, everything GWB has done over the last 4 years has been
anti-freetrade; tax breaks to exporters, quotas on agrictultural
imports, and INCREASE in agricultural subsidies, tariffs imposed on lamb
and steel imports. The list just keeps getting longer by the day.
GWB the flip-flopper, when the going gets tough, he rolls back to the
typical isolationist conservative ways.

Bill Clinton has something to say about people like John Kerry:
"There is nothing patriotic about hating your country, or pretending
that you can love your country but despise your government."
Bill Clinton
Commencement at Michigan State University
May 5, 1995
M. Clark
Which has no relivance to the conversation; FACT, GWB declares himself
pro-freetrade, REALITY he does the opposit. That is the cold hard
reality of the situation.
As for Clinton, he was a whiner, all he ever did, along with the EU at
the WTO is whine about how important it was to prop up ineffficient
agriculture.
