My, you *are* a DELUDED one, aren't you?

They want a country with Family VALUES and a stop to
the deviants who want to turn America into a land of freaks.

Yep. And HATRED is **not** a family value.

So here's a solution to the problem you just described.

All you deviant and control-freakish RRR cult freaks need to
do is move up to Canada. Canadians are a good-hearted people,
with a great sense of humor. So you can give them something
NEW to laugh at!

Meanwhile, you'll be hearing us laugh at you all the way from down
here in the USA once we OUST Bush this fall, take our country back,
and once again have RESPECT for personal and private individual
liberties and rights.

"Hasta la vista, Warmonger-in-Thief!"

Isn't [same-sex] marriage supposed to be legal in Canada?

It is. In many way, Canada is FAR advanced over the USA. That's
one of the ways.

If that is true why would anyone want to move there unless
they were homo?

Probably because living in a FAIR-minded, sensible, and egalitarian
country is ALWAYS preferable to living in one containing mindless and
hateful bigots, all else being equal.

Provide a reference where I have ever done that. I will watch for
this with interest because that is a term I almost never use.

If you didn't use the term, then I apologize. I thought you had.

No, because like all terms there are times when it is quite proper to
be one.

Especially when you wish to control society by removing religion.

I have no interest in controlling. I wish to eliminate one of the
oldest and worst such controls now in place.

But you are concerned about what parents teach their children.

I see a difference between education and indoctrination. Education is
teaching fact. Indoctrination is teaching opinion and judgment. Not
how to make a judgment but what that judgment should be.

By the way, that isn't going to happen.

As I have said in the past it will happen but not in my lifetime.

Ahh, pro-choice...ok...now I know who you are.
Why did you change your nick?

If you look at my name you will see the Prochoice is still there. It
was confusing having the only name I used the same as a major topic
here so I decided I needed to add an identifier. I chose Attila
because as a conservative I am far to the right of Attila the Hun, and
I like his nickname.
I must admit I miss being mistaken for a woman, however. It certainly
generated some amusing comments.

A child can pray during school hours just as he or she can before or

after.

Provided it is an individual activity, not required, and no time is
set aside for it.

wrong again, schools can set time aside for it, and many do.

I believe that is a 'minute of silence' for any use. I disagree with
it, by the way.

Why should my children be forced to participate or to observe somebody

This is not an uncommon comment from those asked to support their
position and cannot do it.
It is not necessary to prove a negative.
proving non-existence: when an arguer cannot provide the evidence for
his claims, he may challenge his opponent to prove it doesn't exist
(e.g., prove God doesn't exist; prove UFO's haven't visited earth,
etc.). Although one may prove non-existence in special limitations,
such as showing that a box does not contain certain items, one cannot
prove universal or absolute non-existence, or non-existence out of
ignorance. One cannot prove something that does not exist. The proof
of existence must come from those who make the claims.

Not in the US. Public schools cannot set time aside for private prayer.
Not during hours where attendance is mandatory.
