I noticed the E.C. got put on the sideline at the RNC. Bush's association
with that group is less than ideal for this country.
A rather curious observation!
I managed to sit and watch 1/2 hour of the GOP Convention
on C-SPAN last evening. (..that was all I could stand)
To be honest, I thought that I was watching a rerun of
The 700 Club with Pat Robertson, or perhaps
even the 'ressurected' Robert Tilton's Faith in
Motion program.
Yes folks...you read it, Robert Tilton, the greatest shyster
TV preacher of all time, is back on BET Network. Now there's
a salesman who knows just where to market the suckers who
will fall for that "send me you $50 love gift/seed faith offering
because G-d really does want you to live in a $850K home
with a pair of Caddilac Esclades in the driveway" crap every time.
Truly the GOP Convention presented as much BULLSHI+
as do the UHF TV preachers on Sunday morning.
I know about the
foundation of this country,
however the founding fathers had the sense to keep church and state
separate. I also know there are fanatics in all groups, but having a
group
that's ideology is so ultra-conservative that close to a President is not
good.

Only those who choose to be offended are.
I am offended by the GOP in 2004. I am sure Lincoln would be
also if he were alive today, as would be Jefferson and Madison
as well!!
