When people like Galen believe the things they are saying, after it is

I suppose Galen believes the Iraq defense minister too?
You suppose wrong.
I supposed that Galen doesn't realize the evil history of this regime?
You'd be wrong there, too.
Who put these civilians in the line of fire?
Answer: SADDAM HUSSEIN
Wrong again. I used to think that a basic value among Americans was
freedom of speech.
Still is
When I see reactions to people like the Dixie Chicks
and others basically telling them not to protest or dissent because
Americans are over in Iraq fighting for our freedoms, among them being
freedom of speech I have to wonder how people can say things like "fighting
for freedom" with a straight face.
Freedom is a two edged sword, they had the freedom to protest, and
their listeners had the right to stop buying their records, and the
same with the radio station's right not to have to air their music.
Freedoms come with the results generated from using them
Granted, Saddam and his thugs are bad people, very bad. I am somewhat
amazed that the US and the "coalition of the willing" was unable to deal
with that regime without pissing off large portions of the world and only
able to deal with it by using their *last* resort (according to them),
which was, of course, war.
Osprey has been wrong three times. Isn't it something like three strikes
and you are out? Or is that another American value I've been confused
about?
