Some good things emerge out of this. Attacks by Hamas upon Israel can
no longer be classified as 'terror'. Since they would be actions of
the gov't of Palestine, they are acts of war. Israel is then within
its rights even under UN rules to declare war.

So why isn't an attack on Bethlehem in Palestine by Israeli tanks, or

Gaza by the Israelis air force, considered an act of war by Israel on
Palestine?

Because defense against terror is NOT an act of war.

One man's act of terror is another man's defense of his home.

So you DO understand how Israeli's defending their homes against terror is
not an act of war. Very good. You move on to the next grade.

So if the Israelis claim terrorist act, its OK for them to attack civilian
targets in Palestine in return.

Civilians get harmed because the terrorists put the civilians in harm's way.
The Palestinian terrorists use civilians as human sand bags, which is NOT
legal or moral in any way, war or otherwise. When the Israelis get the
terrorists, of course they get those unfortunate civilians who the
terrorists use as shields. You want to yell at someone for causing deaths
among civilians, go yell at the terrorists who claim to be acting on behalf
of their citizens.

But if the Palestinians claim terrorist act, it's not ok for them to
attack
military reservists in Israel in return?

They would be more believable if that was ALL they attacked.

Apparently all one needs to do to justify the attacks is to claim
terrorists
live there - the carte blanche pass..

They not only "live there" but they force innocent civilians to "live there"
with them.
