So what? I thought Israel gave refuge to 100, But lets examine the 66
number.
Germany and UK have populations ten times larger than Israel each. So
Israel's contribution is the equivalent of roughly 700. Granted that is
still proportionately far less than what the US, Canada and European
countries took in, but still much larger than what any Arab country
took in. But ISrael has also taken in some refugees from Chriistian
Lebanon, Muslims from Bosnia, not to mention the hundreds of thousands
of various Jewish refugees from different countries. And Israel is a
tiny country with little livable land or resources to spare as is.
Any reliable source for this data? How come no other
country was willing to take these people?
How many refugees did other countries in the Middle-East take?
