Excerpts:
President Bush says his religious faith is helping
him deal with the challenges of the presidency, and
he credits the Bible with inspiring him to push for
federal funding to fight AIDS.
People should not that Bush has disregarded the wishes of the Pope on
many occasions in executing prisoners as governer of Texas and
killing thousands of innocent people in his war with Iraq.
Of course, Bish doesn't say what "faith" it is that he refers to.

I can imagine how much this must impress the
"Culture of Death" crowd.
Come on, [Jackass], I expect better from you than this
ad hominem twiddle.

While Governor Jeb Bush is a Roman Catholic,
I don't know which version of Christianity
Dubya says he belongs to, and families have
been known to be composed of several different
flavors of Christianity.
Ignoring what JFK said on the subject of
Papal Authority over the President of the
U.S.A., Dubya may well not be a Catholic
in the first place, so even if he is trying
to place himself below the level of
statesmanship JFK brought to the office of
the Presidency (not that Dubya needs to try
*at all* to be less a statesman than his
own *father*, let alone JFK), its debatable
whether Dubya would feel he is subject to
Papal Authority, or even Papal Requests.
Of course, Bish doesn't say what "faith" it
is that he refers to.
We know he claims to be "Christian", and
we know this because he seems to be constantly
trying to avoid saying the word "Crusade" when
referring to the Sack of Baghdad. Err, I mean
Conquest of Baghdad. Nope, sorry, the
"liberation" of Baghdad. There, finally got
it "right", at least according to the U.S.
Patriot Act.

It's leaving such a bad taste in my mouth
that Dubya makes former actually-elected
President George Herbert Walker Bush look
like an Elder Statesman by comparison.
