According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics total employment
(Seasonally adjusted) over the last 4 hears has been:
Jan 2001 136.0 million
Jan 2002 133.5 million
Jan 2003 137.5 million
Jan 2004 138.3 million
Since taking office Bush policies (in spite of the high tech bust,
global recession, 9/11 and the War on Terror) have created 2.3 million
net jobs. Please note, that puts Bush 2.3 million jobs in the BLACK
over 3 years. Bush policies have created 5.3 million jobs over the
last 2 years.

.... What do these groups have anything to do with this topic, I don't know.
If anyone figures it out let me know. But just in case it's relevant.

after first complaining about the off topic nature of this post, you
immediately get stuck into researching the topic and find other material to
contradict the points made.
clearly you have been inconvenienced. can we send you a cheque to make it up
to you?

I'll have to reread those documents as I have to freshen up on my employment
lingo, but from the same department:
ftp://ftp.bls.gov/pub/special.requests/lf/aat1.txt

Look at the last 4 years.

The number below reflect person above the age of 16.

Employment status of the civilian noninstitutional population.
Year Unemployed Percentage of Labor Force
2000 5,692 4.0
2001 6,801 4.7
2002 8,378 5.8
2003 8,774 6.0

That's a net of 3 Million unemployed from 2000 to the end of 2003. Of
course the way that unemployment is measured also has a bearing on the
numbers which we will undoubtedly get into.

Didn't complain really. I think we can concur that these posts (including
the response, the response to the response, and the response to the response
of the response) are fairly pointless. Who is 'we' exactly? Speaking for
anyone in general? All the incapable internet users?

P.S. I would like the check.
