Why do you think the Left blames America for every evil under the sun
and spreads this poison both at home and worldwide? For years,
liberals have encouraged hatred of America and lionized anyone who
abused our country, while demonizing those with the temerity to expose
what they were doing.
A few reasons why the Left hates America (and why they're wrong):
Liberals deliberately mischaracterize the American founding and the
history of slavery - and they're afraid of the truth about these
matters.
American imperialism? Only the United States has given the world an
example of how to deal with conquered nations without resorting to
imperialist measures.
Capitalism: The Left sees it as intrinsically evil - and this hatred
fuels a great deal of liberal anti-Americanism.
American women: Oppressed? This liberal myth founders on the truth:
women in the West are better off than anywhere else in the world.
Not to mention better off (my opinion) than MEN in the West. They are
certainly treated BETTER (my opinion) than men and have MORE legal rights
than men. I conclude that they are better off and treated better based upon
the fact that MOST women would not want to trade their legal advantage over
men.
Civil rights "leaders" lie about the proportion of blacks in
front-line military service and other issues.
What else is new.
Noam Chomsky: This fanatical anti-American has become a darling of
rock-and-roll stars and other pseudo-intellectuals.
"The white race is the cancer of human history": Prominent leftist
Susan Sontag said this, and her case depends almost entirely on
half-truths, outright lies and convenient omissions
America's true legacy: She has enriched the world politically,
culturally, economically, and in myriad other ways.
McCarthy was right about Communist infiltration in Hollywood and
elsewhere in America.
Rigoberta Menchu: She wove a tissue of lies to spread Marxism,
environmentalism, feminism, and liberation theology, becoming a
darling of the Left and winning a Nobel Prize - and liberals stood by
her when she was exposed as a fraud.
Multiculturalism: It's a political program masked as a project of
cultural appreciation.
The Left's blacklist: Hollywood Communists blackballed and destroyed
the careers of anti-Communists.
September 11: The Left rushed to blame America for being attacked.
History according to the Left: Liberal history books condemn even the
Civil War, despite the fact that it led to the end of slavery.
The Founding Founders said it's unwise, and can damage society
irreparably, to try to enforce equality of condition among people.
America: An island of freedom in an unfree world. Every American
should be proud of his country and grateful to live here.
But liberals don't. They hate it and want to destroy it's very grassroots
foundation. They will not be satisfied until it's renamed "AmeriKa".

It is part of the left's strategy to continue to keep this country divided.
Playing the race issue continues the hate and division.
A good example of the attempt liberals take to divide the country is the
pushing of affirmative action.
This is in itself, discrimination.
On one hand they tell us, we shouldn't have hiring practices where people
are not hired due to their sex or race.
But now they want us to have hiring practices where people ARE hired based
on their sex or race.
When I was in college, and I was studying human resource management. This
was a very hot topic. I remember one day our instructor gave us this
scenario.
You are the HRM
You have two applicants
You are hiring for the position of electrical engineer.
One applicant is black
He has a Masters degree
Little or no work experience because he is a recent grad student.
The other is white
He too has a Masters degree
However he has 8 years experience with a company like Dupont
Both do well on their written applications
Both do well on their interview
You don't have much time, your company needs this engineer and they need him
quickly.
Government is telling you that you must have so many black employees.
You are short by one
Who do you hire?
This debate went on for days.
I said I would hire the white applicant. Not because of his color. But
because he has experience.
My company needs a engineer, quickly. And we don't have a lot of time to
spend or money on training. Remember the other applicant doesn't have the
experience and most likely will require some training. This takes time, and
money.
My instructor said, in theory I would have been making the best decision for
my company.
However, I would be setting up my company for a potential law suit because
of affirmative action
So you see, they are saying that we must overlook what is best for our
company, and hire based on a persons skin color.
To me this is nothing more than just reverse discrimination.
Most of the students in my class all agreed, this is not fair nor in the
best interest of a company. Even our instructor agreed, it isn't right.
However this is how it is becoming.
By the way, our instructor was black.
I for one do not agree with affirmative action. I also do not believe in
discriminating. It is WRONG to not give someone fair and equal opportunity
based on their sex or race.
However it is WRONG to give someone that opportunity as well based on their
sex or race.
