Fair enough. Every country has its areas generally referred to by the
impolite as hotbeds of incest: these are usually rural and isolated
and, centuries ago, there probably was a higher incidence of
inbreeding there than elsewhere. (Over here it's the Fen country, East
Anglia and Norfolk). But as I said to Jonnyboy, it's not exactly
common these days.
Not common does not mean not at all. It does exist and despite
asswipes like Rice Pattie denials, it is an issue that should be
addressed. Pat likes to divert attention away from issues he doesn't
like, so he turns the topic into one of personal attacks. Assholes
like Kris Blake fall for his *****; people with sense don't.

It exists? No dispute there. You're the one wanting people to believe it's
standard practice in the part of the world I'm a native of, and that's where
you run off the road and into the ditch again. (Nice illustration of doing
what you claim others are doing, as well. As long as you're allowed out long
enough to post, we'll never be lacking for cheap entertainment in this
newsgroup.)

The idea of particular areas being present-day centres of inbreeding
does not hold water. Nowhere's that isolated any more. While incest is
a bad thing, there are far more pressing problems in the world at the
moment affecting many, many more people.
Besides, you do not demonstrate any particular empathy for humankind
in any of your postings, so it's very difficult to percieve your
alleged concern as anything other than self-obsessed religious
***** anyway.

You give yourself away. Show me where I advocate religion in any of
my posts. I do believe in many of the morals and values taught by many
religious denominations but nowhere will you find religion in anything
I post. I do not empathize with those who choose to kill their
children, born or pre-born. No one in USENET has more empathy for the
woman who struggles with the hardships of child birth and child
rearing. I have always been a champion of funding for the sick and
disabled; even those that may not be presently affecting great numbers
of people.
