I'll tell you what - you can't buy this kind of political help.
The more the angry fringers like Keegan who speak up and keep complaining
and believing everything is a conspiracy, the more moderate, left-leaning
independent voters will be turned off on both the process and the
Democratic
Party. These folks are SO PASSIONATE and REALLY BELIEVE in what they are
doing that they can't see the forest for the trees and they continue to
drag
down their own cause while we get to sit back and laugh.
The high level Democrats realize this, but they seem to be unable to
convince their own constituents. I guess that's what they get for
underhandedly promoting all kinds of conspiracy ideas for the last four
years.
The Michael Moore fringe has not yet been trimmed.
This keegan freak and his ilk will continue to submerge the Dem's
credibility to complete irrelevancy.
While Michael Moore gets rich as hell. The irony is fantastic! To watch
his distraught, empire hating, money loathing lemmings line up single-filed
to pay their below-living-wage dollars to see his lies is a hoot. He laughs
himself to sleep every night I bet. The Michael Moore phenomenon is proof
that the Democratic Party is done: The better he does - the better we do.
The contempt he has been stoking in the hearts of the angry progressives is
now spilling over into the establishment of the Democratic Party - like a
freaken cancer. Their anger turns from the right to the corporate left &
what else is there to do but to hate the only ones to screw them more than
the Republicans - and that is the Democratic Party.
And what does Michael Moore care? When the Republicans are out of business,
so is he - and that fat pretzel snorting ***** won't be eating so well if
his side wins. He doesn't WANT the change he sells.
Just a whining leftist ***** to the dollar who sells all his komrades
down the pike...you nailed his scam big time.
I also must say that Badnarik is doing the Libertarian Party a huge wrong
in
pushing this expensive recount. Raising $150,000 for the fee does not
cover
1.5 million in taxpayer funded costs. What a dope. And yes - I am a
libertarian that once again is disappointed that the party is too caught
up
in fruitless "activism" which will change nothing instead of effecting
real
change, spreading the ideals of the Party, and aligning with the idiot
Greens just to keep their names in the headlines. Of course none of this
hurts the Republicans, but I would like to see libertarian ideals get the
chance at more mainstream acceptance one day.
Excellent analysis KF.
Badnarik's "because I can" rationale and willingness to play into
election conspiracy theories does nothing but hurt the Libs, which is
a shame.
If ever a populist hope has been uniformly pissed on from within and
out it is the Libs.
no *****. You want to know how I would like to see the Libs go forward? Get
simple and stick to the real, core ideals: smaller government, lower taxes,
personal freedom and responsibility.
pretty damn simple really.
So simple it seems to elude them, how sad is that?
I too would like a populist solution to big government focused on
basic Constitutional principles, fiscal conservatism, and enabling
private sector empowerment.
Guess it's just too much to hope for.
....sigh...
