Well, it was only a matter of time. Now Bush is going to begin

The draft legislation was introduced by Democrats. IIRC, draft legislation
is traditionally introduced to Congress every year.

You are confused. No one that I am aware of suggests that the draft is
not needed. Republicans are notorious for advocating war but refusing
to serve their country, for example.

The point is twofold. First, Bush is getting us into another Vietnam,
and second, he is willing to place current US troops in danger when he
knows damn well they need more help but refuses to institute the draft
until after the election.

How so? Because troops have died?
FREE CLUE: People die in war. This is not a new concept.
And, sadly, it isn't the people who advocate the war.
Nobody is advacating war.

Nobody is advocating war for the sake of war. Sometimes war is necessary.
Your side is too blind to see reality.

Advocating war was EXACTLY what Bush did. He obviously had no real
reason for war. Certainly no WMD's or terrorism.
War is always necessary for those who are blood thirsty, filled with
hate and fear, and don't actually have to do the fighting. People are
dying while you sit back and make up reasons for why it is "necessary."
