I agree that Ashcroft is a man who stands opposed to the freedoms we
love, but this petition is silly. Ashcroft was appointed by the
president and confirmed by the Senate. The only way to get rid of
Ashcroft is to vote out Bush on November 2nd. Some petition on the
Internet will have as much chance of ridding the DOJ of Ashcroft as it
does of making pigs fly under their own power.
