Right to Life March: Report=20
"Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the =
ditch?" -Luke 6:39=20
WASHINGTON, D.C. Jan. 28 /Covenant News Wire Service/ -- It was =
painfully obvious at the Inauguration of George Bush, and the Right to =
Life March, that those who style themselves pro-life, conservative, or =
Christian do not always share the same sentiments, or values.
Some use the tragedy of abortion at the Right to Life March to =
advance the cult of Mary. Icons of Guadalupe were paraded high above the =
crowds. Messages from "Our Lady." were widely distributed.
Some use the opportunity to advance a dubious political agenda, i.e. =
the Republican Party. Many carried signs which read:
"Thank you President Bush for speaking up for the babies" (????)
Some advertised their churches, others were hawking wares. Some felt =
the event should be about aborting women. Many think their voice should =
be heard above the cry of aborted babies. Most of those attending want =
to put a positive face on baby-murder. Some carried pro-life smiley =
faces and whooped like they were at a sporting event. Being pro-life has =
somehow devolved into something other than baby-murder.
Many marchers complain that the pictures of aborted babies present =
the wrong message at the wrong place, at the wrong time, in the wrong =
manner. They do not want their children (or anyone else) to see them.
I was reminded of a seemingly godly woman who always complained =
about her rotten church. I did not understand why she did not change =
churches. I did not understand the rotten church helped her feel =
righteous. She felt the weight of her unrepentant sin around godly =
people. She had a tendency to back-bite.
This woman is a reflection of the pro-life movement in America. =
Unrepentant pro-lifers support compromising political and religious =
leaders. The filthier the leader the more we shine, and the less we =
sense our need to repent. We complain about them as we cheerfully give =
them our support.
Endorsing the failed strategies of the past, Nellie Gray once again =
places all hope on George W. Bush, the Republican Party, and the U.S. =
Supreme Court. Every year, hat-in-hand, we faithfully report to them on =
the forbidden marble steps, another 1.5 million deaths, as baton =
wielding police eye us suspiciously.
Bland leading the bland, pro-lifers use a Humanistic standard to =
contend with baby-murder. Pro-aborts, using the same standard, justify =
abortion on demand.
We cannot expect God to bless our unbiblical world-view. The Bible =
gives 18 reasons why people should be put to death; being unwanted is =
not one of them. God does not equate the life of baby-killers with the =
life of their victims. WWJD? Jesus advocated the death penalty for =
rebellious children (Matt 15:3-6), would hang a millstone on a =
baby-killers neck and toss him into the depths of the sea (Matt. =
18:5-6).
Ominous clouds of God's judgment billow overhead. The Day of the =
Lord is at hand. The blood of 50 million innocent children screams from =
the ground for vengeance. It appears that their only hope is America's =
calamity.

Apart from marches in Washington USA being irrelevant to
Australian politics, the 'Right to Life' people are obviously
Jews and should not be waving around Christian symbols,
if they are Christians they should be following the example
of Christ and should not be in the march.
God gave man free agency and then left it up to each person
to exercise that free agency how they wished to. Christ
reiterated this message; he also said that the old laws of Moses
were finished as Christ had come to balance the books and
close them out.
Thus the 'eye for an eye' stuff and the 10 commandments
are not a direct responsibility on those who follow the
teachings of Christ. Jesus gave us two commandments
to uphold
1. Love the Lord thy God with all they heart, body and soul.
2. Love they neighbour as thyself.
That is it, two and two only. Thus a sado-masochist is entitled
under those commandments to beat people up, as long as they
also beat themselves up on a regular basis.
But overriding all of the above is the right that God gave everyone
to decide for themselves and do as they wish, God will take them
to task for what they do when they stand before God on the
judgement day. But we have no right to tell them they have
no right to make their own choices, not matter how much we
think that choice is wrong. To do otherwise is to put our selves
above God.
Yes we have laws where we tell people not to kill and the
execute them when they do. These were introduced to
allow the larger communal group to live and interact as a
community group. Killers will answer to God on the judgement
day, as will executioners.

Top posted to avoid wearing out your mouse.
I can see why the "Missionaries of the Pre-born" might look down on
Catholics and I can see why almost anyone would object to George W
Bush. But in what way do "Most of those attending want to put a
positive face on baby-murder"?
