Our Great President has just signed into law the
long-awaited "Unborn Victims of Violence Act" of
Congress. Excellent! This means that "pro-killer"
abortion advocates had better run and hide their
pointed little Anti-Xian heads in shame, because
the law of the land now favors what God's immuta-
ble Law clearly states to be fruitful & multiply!
I really like this law because Scott Peterson is
obviously guilty of murdering his wife and child,
so his scumbag criminal defense attorney doesn't
dare draw further attention to his guilty client
such that the Act of Congress signed into law by
President Bush is named after Peterson's victims!
What's Garagos gonna say? "Your honor, my client
can't get a fair trial anywhere in the US, since
Congress--and the President of the United States
of America--enacted this 'Laci & Conner' law, so
all charges against my irrefutably guilty client
should be dismissed, on the grounds of his guilt.
No jury on Earth could assume my guilty client's
innocence until proven guilty, but rather see it
as automatically guilty as will be proved guilty
in a court of law. My client hasn't got a prayer!"
And Roe vs Wade is history too, since any unborn
child is now protected by federal law, Oh my God!
Now we can't even have first trimester abortions,
but will have to teach our children abstinence &
responsibility instead of decadence & irresponsi-
bility like we've routinely done in the past. If
abortions are outlawed, only outlaws will have a-
bortions, with rates of sexual promiscuity among
adolescents quickly plummeting. This spells "dis-
aster" for the Hollywood, cable & satellite tele-
vision smut machine, and will make the Hollywood
heathen leftist liberal communists look very bad,
even though they always have looked like dogshit.

Yeah, I'm tired of liberal Democrats who want to control every aspect of our

who was not elected but selected by the Supreme Court, took a surplus
and turned it into a defecit.
Instead of taking the warnings of a presidential commission on
terrorism seriously, he decided that he wanted to focus on Iraq and
after invading Afghanistan as he should of,he invaded Iraq instead of
trying to find Bin Laden.
He proclaimed that the war was over but still young Americans die in
Iraq.
Now, Iraq has become another "homeland" for fanatical Islamists who
want to fight the Crusades over again and turn the world into a new
Islamic empire.
It's time for Bush to go home to Texas.

THEY ARE FAKE. I know this with deep experience. Are they fetuses? Of
course. DId they end up in the condition they are in due to abortion.

experience tells me that. In addition, most "abortion photos" are of
large 200+gram 7 month fetuses aborted for severe defect.
I WISH they would show a real first trimester abortion: people would
be shocked how benign it is. A 1 liter suction bottle half fills on
the wall. It is poured into a jar and sent to Pathology because the
embryo is too small to see. Thsi is what happened in 95% of abortions,
but antiabortionists use the most gruesome, exceeding rare photos and

I've also seen probably ten thousand live births, and they are
massively misrepresented on TV too.

Sigh. Even reversing (it's a SCOTUS case) RvW would simply give
control back to the States. New York, Florida and California already
had abortion choice laws on the books by 1973, as they would if RvW
was overturned. At least twenty other states would follow.
So what does this mean? Two groups would be celebrating: the
antiabortionists, thinking (falsely, of course,) that the decision
would "end abortion," and the travel business, who could expect many
passengers from "no abortion" states to "abortion choice" states.
Poor women, who could not afford the fare? Who the hell cares about
them?

Sigh. Even reversing (it's a SCOTUS case) RvW would simply give
control back to the States. New York, Florida and California already
had abortion choice laws on the books by 1973, as they would if RvW
was overturned. At least twenty other states would follow.
So what does this mean? Two groups would be celebrating: the
antiabortionists, thinking (falsely, of course,) that the decision
would "end abortion," and the travel business, who could expect many
passengers from "no abortion" states to "abortion choice" states.
Poor women, who could not afford the fare? Who the hell cares about
them?
You certainly don't.
I certainly don't think that likely -- although it's possible
that Roe vs. Wade will in fact be overturned, but only after
the Congress passes some sort of federal level abortion ban
that bans most abortions -- either inadvertantly (because of
linguistic sloppiness) or deliberately, by couching it in
terms such as "unborn child murder-killing" or some such
drivel.
I don't see the issue devolving back to the states, for precisely
the reasons you mention -- and even a national-level ban would
be problematic, if only because Canada's not that far away,
and Europe welcomes lots of US visitors, for various reasons.
Of course the US might do some interesting (in a sense that
John Ashcroft might find favorable, that is, not a civil
libertarian) stuff, such as examine all women departing from
and returning to the US to ensure that a pregnant woman going
out is still pregnant upon coming back. Fortunately, the
main obstacle there is the Fifth Amendment; one cannot be
presumed guilty without a lot more data, as the woman might
have miscarried instead.
(ObDumbQuestion: How does Roe vs. Wade get banned? It's a
court decision...)

One good reason why the abortion pill (mifepristone) is a good thing to have
available just incase rabid control freaks start passing unjust laws. That
way they won't be stopped by new laws.
Still, I wonder what happens to women who take the pills but for some reason
fail and then require medical attention. Let them die or bleed to death?
That's the motto of the rabid control freaks - let them die, let them
suffer, punish them.
It's all about punishment, nothing else. Just punishing women for sex.

PS: I used to be an ardent pro-lifer until one day when I woke up and
realised what a bunch of idiots comprise what is known as the anti-choice
RRR cult. I had recieved an e-mail that morning from one of the RRR
cultists, the previous evening I had asked them if they supported sex
education and condoms in high schools as a measure to reduce the chances of
unintended pregnancies, and the reply was something along the lines of
"making women suffer for their sins". That was the day I snapped and gave
the big finger to the RRR cult.
Keep abortion and contraception safe and legal.

them?

I'm a Jewish, prochoice Liberal from Connecticut with a safe full of

And my county, the wealthiest in the US, is overwhelmingly Democrat.
We rarely even get campaign ads here.
What do you and I prove? That stereotyping Democrats as prochoice,
antigun, antiwar liberals on welfare is as inane as stereotyping
Republicans as rich, antiabortion, progun, procorporate, prowar,
neocons.
Some of my best friends are Republicans. ; ) But I LOATHE Bush and his
whole fucking corrupt administration, and am most pleased to see him
against the ropes. All these shenanigans that Bush is pulling with the
9/11 Commission are so Watergate, it's uncanny. I'm waiting for the
gap in the tape.
Simple adage: if you have something to hide, and refuse to let the
public see it, it's almost certainly something the public would not
like. I don't even need to hear it. Bush's actions tell me what would
be on the tape.

I almost hate to say it..... but if that's what it takes to get shrub (don't
capitalize it, shows too much respect), maybe, just barely maybe, it would

Considering that many of them don't believe in abortion even in cases of
rape or incest, I'd say their concern isn't exactly overwhelming for the
mothers, either. BTW, Ten more Americans died today in Iraq and except for a
few platitudes Bush has shown little evidence of giving a rats ***** either
today or in the past when his stupid, meddling policies got people killed,
apparently because those people were already born and therefore beyond his
"protection."
Anyway...Bush has deliberately started down the road of banning all abortion
by a process of slowly elevating the unborn to the same legal status as the
born. The constant pounding by the "liberal media" of the Laci Peterson case
is beginning to make sense. The Bushies stop nowhere and they've never given
a damn what anybody thought. If in a few years if they feel like they can
get away with banning The Pill they will do it. Condoms might escape their
ban though...After all, if a fertilized egg has the same rights as you or
me, why stop there? Why not declare a few sperm looking for an egg "life"
too? One of them might find it and we can't know the second it happens so we
must give them every opportunity and honor the life of all the little
tadpoles.
"If even one sperm is in the canal, we must assume it's life, and any
potential human being has the same legal protections as any fully mature
human being." That's where they're headed. They're not fooling anybody.
