For several MONTHS now (and probably even a year or more),
Rev. John Hagee, RRR-cult-steeped syndicated pastor of Corner-
stone Church in San Antonio, Texas, has been WASTING untold
amounts of his congregation's contributions and/or profits from the
books and tapes that he sells, on programs that are nothing more
than ludicrous tirades against "witchcraft." His target -- the "Harry
Potter" books and movies.
Perhaps then, by adding all this silly publicity to "Harry Potter,"
he got his come-uppance for his bigoted stupidity by HELPING this
latest "Harry Potter" film to score $92,000,000 at the box office this
last weekend -- the third-largest return for the opening of ALL movies
that have ever been released on a three-day weekend!
ROTFL!!!! You've gotta LOVE it!
Take a HIT, Hagee! Take a BIG hit!! Only your very tiny "choir"
is interested in your silliness.
6-7-04 Update: It gets even BETTER! At $92.65 million, "Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" has
attained the cirrent title of 3rd-largest opening EVER, to date, of
ALL films ever produced... after "Spiderman," and "Shrek 2."
(Time to throw in the towel, Hagee. You and your fellow
RRR-cultic looney-tunes have LOST **that** one, BIG-time!)
