Showing those pictures have put troops in more danger |
I totally detest how they treated the prisoners in Iraq. They deserve to be
punished to the fullest extent the military will allow; however, the media
has caused more harm than good.
Wrong as it was, the media needs to realize that they will have to share
some responsibility for what every may happen out of revenge.

I do not think that any one side is right or wrong here.
War is war and we are seeing the worst out of both sides.
You can talk about rules of engagement and all that horseshit.
People are fighting for their lives. Of course you are going to see

It is about right and wrong.
What they did was wrong, and in my opinion it goes further up than just the
officers that were at the prison.
Equally responsible is the media and the fact that they may have put our men
and women in even more harm
by showing the pictures.
And isn't it amazing how you don't mind those pictures being shown, yet if
they were to show pictures
of the World Trade Center coming down and the Pentagon, you would probably
say we shouldn't be
reminded of that.
Now, if you want to continue with your divide and conquer and judge everyone
based on their political preference,
that is on you.
The job of the news media is to report news, and believe me, this is
news.

she now suffers knowing the boy wants nothing to do with the unwanted child
or her - and the mental pain of what happens to her now, when her mom passes
away due to hepatitis and other health problems. Torture? Yes! And the
girl is only going on 16. No school. No college. Crappy minimum wage
jobs..... Someone needs to teach these kids about birth control. Teaching
them abstinence is not working.

Rape and incest is another issue that a woman can't always control.
# Add to that the fact that many boys coerce the girls into having sex with
them. The boys admit that they will do this, I've even seen it on TV.
That's why sex education must be taught in the schools and churches. Too
many parents put it off until their son got some girl pregnant....... or
their daughter told them she missed two periods.

course. Teach it as an option, and give the pros and cons like any other
