St. Charles County — A former church deacon pleaded guilty Monday of
child molestation and could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Jerry Glenn Crabdree, 63, of the 1400 block of Quiver Drive in
O'Fallon, Mo., testified Monday that he had fondled a 13-year-old girl
in 2003. He and his wife had taken the girl to a store in St. Peters
where the incident occurred. Prosecutors and Crabdree's attorney
reached a plea agreement that recommended a 10-year sentence and
delayed sentencing until Jan. 25.
