The news report of another Christian pastor being arrested was
upsetting enough, but comments from members of his church were equally
unsettling.
One member stated, “it’s hard to believe that a small situation like
this would be used against him.” Another: “Pastor Ron himself will
preach that everyone is human and everyone makes mistakes.”
Wake up, Christians! Yes, everyone is human and we make mistakes.
Christians are no exception. However, it is time for those of us
professing to be Christians to speak out against these things, not
make excuses for them. This “indiscretion” did not pop up overnight.
The average person doesn’t take a drive and unexpectedly find
themselves allegedly soliciting a prostitute.
