READING, Pa. (AP) - April 10, 2007 - A Roman Catholic priest who is
serving four to ten years in state prison for violating parole in a
child pornography case is seeking a reduced sentence.
Fifty-nine-year-old Reverend Ronald Yarrosh was sentenced in August
2005 to three to 23 months in the Schuylkill County Prison for taking
more than 23-thousand dollars from Saint Ambrose Church in Schuylkill
Haven, where he was an assistant pastor. The Diocese of Allentown
relieved Yarrosh of his duties when he was charged in the
embezzlement.
