Teens Promote Purity on Valentine's Day
Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006 Posted: 12:08:23PM EST
Teens and youth will stand up for sexual purity today on Valentine's Day by
taking part in the third annual Day of Purity, organizing events to
encourage their churches, organizations or community to take part.
The national event, which will involve hundreds, was organized by the
Liberty Counsel, a conservative Christian legal firm based in Orlando, Fla.
Youths will participate in various outreach activities to spread the message
of abstinence before marriage

"Pro-choice" means: decide for yourself.
To do what?
Whatever. The only thing is, you can't force anyone else to obey you.
Uh........
Sucks to be you, eh? That's sad.
That's
one of the things that drives you even crazier than you already are.
Nah. That is what drives the bad people crazy while they hide the truth to
cover their asses.
I'm thankful I don't live in the dream world you inhabit much of the
time...reality takes precedence, around here.
If I were dreaming all this then why is it I see all the protections for
Pro-Choice?
Increased security, terminations of employment of citizens who are not
willing to dispense morning after pills?
As little as it seems as Pro-Choicers work and like to order people around,
how will they get the work done when so many don't like working for them?
Does this mean more imports on the way?
You just do not see the trade gap or the budget deficit or the loss of
domestic jobs.
Why can't you put the two things together, RVW and divorce rates.

What disturbs me about that is that there is very little inherent logic in
determining when it is allowed and when it is not. Even the Supreme Court
rulings use phrases like "to become compelling" whatever that means..

That's false. A fetus has a legal existence (status) almost immediately.
Maybe that's what he meant by "information being hidden"
More to the point, when does a fetus have *actual existence* deserving of
moral consideration? Why don't we talk about that?

To get an abortion if you want to, or not get one if you don't want to.

As you know, that choice does not exist anywhere, it always is subject to
strict limitations which, if violated, may bring a charge of homicide.
"Are you really stupid or do you just play stupid?" Can't we dispense with
ad hominem rhetoric like this? Or does it just make you feel too good?

ANALYZING ABORTION-ON-REQUEST* in the USA
*(Abortion Rights as they have existed since 1-22-73)
Abortion terminates entities (z/e/fs: zygotes, embryoes &
fetuses, up until the 7th month of gestation) which have ALL
of these characteristics in common with sperm and ova:
-- Human
-- Unique
-- As a stage of development, indispensable to future birth
-- Have NEVER experienced conscious awareness*
-- Alive
...which makes it hypocritical when abortion opponents
try to defend z/e/fs but NOT sperm and ova.
* (AFTER the 7th month of gestation begins, conscious
awareness may be possible, but all the other of the above-
listed attributes still apply.)
And the Bible, which is the primary moral authority for the
majority of Americans:
-- In NO way condemns abortion
-- Doesn't even MENTION abortion
-- By Jesus' day, abortion had been around for 1,000 yrs.
-- Contains NO defenses of s/o/z/e/fs
-- Reserves ALL of its protection for already-BORN people
-- That the Bible regards personhood to begin at BIRTH is
made clear by it's immense emphasis on the importance
of BIRTH order, BIRTHrights. and first-BORNS.
-- In certain cases, condemned BABIES to horrible deaths
-- Never indicates that there is anything "special" about
fertilization
-- Thus making z/e/f and sperm & ova of EQUAL worth
Abortion-on-request enables women to:
-- Put their lives back on track immediately
-- Restore their well-being to pre-unplanned pregnancy levels
-- Vast majority of women are happy with this decision
-- Most women have no regrets
-- Restore their full range of future opportunities
-- Avoid physical difficulties of a 9-month pregnancy
-- Especially important for young girls, ~12-16
-- Statistically 6-10 times safer than carrying-to-term
-- Avoid the trauma of adopting-out, and wondering later
-- Avoid possibility of changing mind about adopting-out
-- Reduce likelihood of long-term economic deprivation
-- Avoid bringing child into less-loving home
-- Avoid bringing child into unstable environment
-- Wait until timing is better before having children
-- Who then are MORE likely to be loved
-- Who then are MORE likely to be in stable home
-- And thus are LESS like to have troubled childhoods
-- And therefore more likely NOT to become criminals
-- And thus are MORE likely to become successful
Legal abortion-on-request:
-- Is exponentially safer than illegal abortions
-- Thus saving the lives of hundreds or thousands of women/yr.
-- Has been available throughout the USA since early 1973
-- Between 1973 and 2000, 30 million women have had them
-- Between 1973 and 2000, 40 million abortions have been done
Other related facts include:
-- MOST women who have abortions go on to HAVE kids later,
when the timing is better
-- Those children would NOT have been born if the abortions
had not taken place earlier, because the same sperm and
ova would not have matched up.
-- Those "2nd-round" kids STARTED reaching age 13 in
significant numbers by 1988. By the early 1990s, millions
of those "2nd-round" kids were in their mid-teens by the
early 1990s.
-- Mid-teens is the highest risk age for crime, and this
continues into the early 20s.
-- As pointed out above, wanted and loved children are
LESS prone to criminal behavior.
-- By 1995, millions of "2nd-round kids" were entering the
workforce. Perhaps a million-plus MORE have entered it
every year SINCE. By 2000, the oldest ones had reached
the age where they could be getting quite successful.
-- Since the early 1990s, the rate of violent crime in the USA
has declined dramatically, and by 2000 was at 40-year
lows in many categories.
-- The decade of the 1990s, and the 21st century to date,
in the USA, has been the most economically-dynamic
period of time for any nation in the entire history of the
world.
Although the exact figures may be impossible to derive, the
probability that abortion-on-request has SIGNIFICANTLY benefitted
all of America's society in terms of the crime rate and the economy
is QUITE strong, despite the temporary anomaly caused by the attack
on Sept. 11, 2001. And a strong U.S. economy benefits the entire
world.

ROTFL!!! You Anti-Choicers sound like a broken record,
spewing over and over again the same specious party lines
that are devoid of factual relevancy.
Your statement was the precise *equivalent* of saying
THIS:
"The choice of either accepting or rejecting medical
treatment for the injuries that Carol suffered in the
auto accident was made when she got behind the
wheel and started driving."
(Damn, but you Anti-Choicers are just plain bone-DUMB!!
And you just keep right on proving it to everyone. But, at
least, THAT is a *GOOD* thing!)
The second choice means choosing to kill.
Nothing gets "killed" that isn't totally worthless, when
unwanted. JUST as is the case with the *quadrillion* potential
people that are electively aborted DAILY, worldwide, by men,
while ignorant loons like you hypocritically look the other way
and whistle a tune. Every one of those Stage One repro-
ductive-process entities (gametes) are -- JUST like the other
three stages (zygotes, embryoes, and fetuses) -- unique,
human, and alive.
The *dolts* that subscribe to that loathsome and hateful
agenda...
How can there anything hateful about saving a child?
Abortion has nothing more to do with *children* -- ALL of
which have been BORN -- than the consuming of acorns by
squirrels have to do with already-existing oak trees.
Where is your mind at?
MY mind deals with fairness, sensibility, compassion, and
the acceptance of all of the relevant FACTS. Too bad about
yours. You're living proof of the failure that's mentioned in
the comment, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste." That's
what's happened to the minds of ALL people who are hateful,
bigoted, and ignorant enough to be Anti-Choicers/RRR cultists.
...live in total denial of ALL of the relevant facts that
pertain to the harmless and beneficial REMEDY of abortion.
Most of which I've provided in the *sig* of THIS post. To
the best of my knowledge, NO Anti-Choicer has ever been able
to disprove ANY of them. And I'm betting you'll be just like
them: you'll run away without trying (as most of your ilk do),
or you'll abjectly fail in a very LAME attempt.
Harmless? Who the hell are you to say it's harmless?
Someone who obviously is more knowledgeable and intelligent
than you are ever likely to be, unless you grow up.
<Moronic propaganda having to do
with NON-sentient entities flushed>

early 1990s.
-- The decade of the 1990s, and the 21st century to date,
in the USA, has been the most economically-dynamic
period of time for any nation in the entire history of the
world.
Although the exact figures may be impossible to derive, the
probability that abortion-on-request has SIGNIFICANTLY benefitted
all of America's society in terms of the crime rate and the economy
is QUITE strong, despite the temporary anomaly caused by the attack
on Sept. 11, 2001. And a strong U.S. economy benefits the entire
world.

-- Since the early 1990s, the rate of violent crime in the USA

lows in many categories.
-- The decade of the 1990s, and the 21st century to date,

How did you get so addicted to abortions?
LOL!!!! **You** are so damn DUMB, you probably would have
asked MLK, Jr. how he got so addicted to Civil Rights, if you'd had
the chance.
FORTUNATELY for society, hateful control-freaks like you always
are in the minority... and ultimately ALWAYS lose.
Society ALWAYS outgrows intolerant and hateful movements
that are mired in stupidity, and are supported by NO relevant
facts. ALWAYS. No exceptions! And our own history, here
in the USA, makes that very clear. ---
-- Slavery -- EXTINCT
-- Opposition to Women's Suffrage -- EXTINCT
-- Prohibition -- EXTINCT
-- Opposition to Birth-Control Pill -- EXTINCT
-- Segregation -- EXTINCT
-- Anti-Semitism -- ENDANGERED (Thankfully)
-- Anti-Choice (abortion) -- LAUGHINGSTOCK STATUS
-- Opposition to EQUAL Rights for Gays -- FADING FAST
Segregationists were a JOKE (i.e., "laughingstock status")
during the last few years before it became extinct. As opposition
to EQUAL rights for gays (with respect to housing, being parents,
marriage, and employment) continues to fade, the remaining
opponents first will become laughingstocks, and then that
hatefulness will end in extinction. constant consciousness-raising,
as is being assisted by the media in its sitcoms, talk shows, etc., is
very helpful.
The ludicrous and hateful actions and defense of sociopathic
agendas against individual liberties on the part of the adherents/
lemmings of the RRR Cult will soon lead to American society's
becoming EMBARRASSED to have those louts in their midst,
making our country a laughingstock in front of the entire world.
Even now, the process of their becoming FED UP with that is
building toward the critical mass that will trigger the *rejection*
of the RRR's **shameful** and worthless agendas. Before much
longer, society will reject those movements with all the force that
it brought to bear against segregation.
Historical precedents have CONSISTENTLY proven that
Americans **outgrow* movements of intolerance (such as ALL
of the above), and then REJECT them -- leaving them behind
FOREVER.
And *that* is EXTINCTION.
Very WELCOME extinction. As in, "Good riddance forever!"
The more you lobby for abortion on demand...
I don't. There's no such thing as abortion-on-"demand."
It's abortion-on-REQUEST. No reasons need to be given, any
more than would be the case if a person were having a broken arm
set. Or buying aspirin tablets for a headache. NOI big deal.
I'm a sensible and fair-minded egalitarian who DEFENDS human/
civil rights and personal liberties from rats like you.
And that's something that NO person who is doltish, hateful,
bigoted, or bone-STUPID enough to be an Anti-Choicer/RRR
Cult lemming/homophobe will *ever* be able to comprehend.
That makes you part of society's pond scum. Sewer rat turds
floating in society's punch bowl. Sociopathic losers having NO
redeeming social significance.

Honesty, the article read hundreds will participate. Hardly sweeping
the nation.
Yet, there is no reason for children to have sex and the kids should
know they do not have to allow it. That would be part of a
comprehensive, scientifically sound human sexuality education program.
A program designed to cover the controversies and theories of human
sexuality. So the kids can make up their own minds. After all, who's
afraid of the questions?

ROTFL!!!!!!!
The national event, which will involve hundreds,...
...of loony, RRR-Cult-brainwashed teens... out of a nation
populated by 300 MILLION people. "Hundreds." LOL!!!!!!!!
... to spread the message of abstinence before marriage.
Thus getting themselves LAUGHED-at monumentally for
having no lives beyond their busybodyishly involving themselves
in such silly *trivialities**
Now wonder there were only "hundreds" of them.
hundreds : 300,000,000 :: gnat : Tyrannosaurus rex
There's nothing wrong with CHOOSING (case-by-case) to
abstain... just as there is nothing wrong with CHOOSING to
be sexually-active.
But **promoting** either one just makes a total fool of the
person doing the promoting.
Just another example of RRR Cult loons trying to butt into
the PRIVATE and PERSONAL business of other people. Their
typical *loonacy*.

RRR Cult lemmings.
Dumber than dirt. America's own version of the Taliban.
Selfishly, hatefully, and mindlessly supporting sociopathic
agendas that seek to destroy vital personal liberties of
millions of people. (That's as dumb as it GETS!!!)
And constantly proving that to everyone.
