Tests for gay babies |
Hi,
Can anyone help me? I'm pregnant and I want my baby but
as long as its not gay. Are there any tests I can do
on the baby to make sure its OK? I dont want a gay or
lesbian baby it would be too much and I want an
abortion if it is.

I think the fundamental misunderstanding of pro-lifers is that it isn't
about the women, it is about the life of the baby, who gets to choose for
them? Why should they be denied life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

then means they can choose for their baby after the choice of reproduction
was already made; which is, they had sex, which often results in pregnancy.
That is your choice, if you have sex and get pregnant, whether by "accident"
or shear negligence, that is when your choice occurred.

children is, I didn't make that choice. I didn't conceive or aid in the
conceiving of those children. In the case of the pregnant woman, she MADE a
choice, she had sex and it resulted in a child. Her choice was the sex and
no one should be allowed to make up for a bad choice by killing someone. It
is sad that there are people in the world going hungry, no argument there,
however, it is no one's right to kill them.
Again, the majority of pregnancy's result from a choice that a women makes,
to have sex. Regardless of what "precautions" she may have taken, the
natural result of sex is pregnancy. The fact that a women (and the man is
responsible here too) made a bad choice should not somehow make null the
choices of that child. How do you know what that child wants? What if
he/she wants to live? Who are you or me or anyone else to decide for that
child?
There is no other way to cut it, there is a child in there, and I don't
think for a minute that any of us would want to have been killed when we
were fetuses, without, at least, being consulted first.
This whole discussion started on a question about gay babies, what a
horrible world that must be where people want to kill someone else based on
a deformity. It is also interesting that a supposedly pro-choice advocate
is also an advocate for the killing of gays. Is this an isolated philosophy
or do a lot of pro-choicers believe this way?

*You* are/were no player in this hypothetical conception, so I ask, under
your own criteria, why you feel compelled to interfere in any shape, form or

Hi Karen,
Well, as any right thinking leftie will tell you, homosexuality is a
pre-defined genetic condition. They can now test embryos for other
genetic preconditions, and deny them the right to life on that basis, so
there's no reason to think that testing unborn children for being
homosexual, and then denying them life for that reason is beyond the
realms of possibility. After all, who has a right to impose the
discrimination that homosexuals face on an innocent person when you
could abort them?
There's no limit these days to extending parental CHOICE in any
direction we choose. Jewish babies. Female babies. Gay babies. Blonde
babies. Disabled babies. Of course, paramount in all this is a woman's
right to control her own body, a right in which nobody has a business to
interfere.
I believe that someone has discovered a gay gene. Perhaps you could
contact them.

Dearest Karen, As a gay father with a straight son, I'll tell you now
that you are not fit to be a parent to any child (straight or gay.)
Please consider having the baby and adopt it to someone who has an
unconditional love children. Then, run don't walk to your nearest
clinic to have your tubes permanently tied. No child should not have to
suffer your lack of education and bias. There are many gay parents that
would love to raise your child, and I'll bet they are better parents
than you will ever be.

Your a typical prolifer always trying to control women and stop them
making there choices. Its not your problem. Your a man what would you
know about having a gay baby and then it growing up and being a quear.
You're not the one having to deal with it so you should mind youre own
business. I thought there might be some prochoice people on these
groups that could help me but it looks like there arent any. What a
load of crap youre all anti women.
