Ah, Wayne Madsen. He was behind the article claiming that a European
cipher machine company was deliberately tampering with its products, to
defraud its customers.
And apparently a good deal else.
I don't know about you, but I would think most people reading him would
swiftly come to the conclusion that he would believe any fantasy that
supports his political preconceptions.

i'll bet the coming testimony documenting how the machines were rigged will
cause you a lot of discomfort.

It is being taken seriously by House Judiciary Committee's Democratic
caucus.
This may turn out to be another Dan Rather type accusation, but
it necessitates a thorough investigation.
In two days the story has gone global.

It will boil down to the credibilty or other evidence that can be
produced.
The programmer describes the software as having invisible buttons on the
touch
screen, written into the code, that when sequentially touched resets the
vote
count to a 51 to 49 percent lead for the person currently being voted
for.
It's absolutely believable and could delete itself when powered down
after
the election.
It may also be 100 percent *****.

if it gets that far. the gop will do anything to prevent evidence being
presented, just as they apparently did everything in their power to keep
people from voting for kerry and, if that failed, to keep votes for kerry
from being counted as votes for kerry.

of course it is believable. only the usa has been so slow to look into the
fraud here. the rest of the world has been following the fraud story since
11/2.

That's the true embarrassment and disgrace. The Europeans and others
can easily see that the US is now a fascist state. Bush's Faustian
bargain with corporations has come to fruition. He's the ultimate
corporate lobbyist. If he continues to sit in the White House and watch
television, his friends in corporate America will make HIM irrelevant.
Unbridled capitalism will inevitably breed fascism, and the GOP's been
pushing for deregulating everything. The privatization of government
services is a symptom of the coming destruction of constitutional
government, if BushCo remains in power.
True conservatives ought to be as upset about Bush's policies as are
liberals. All of us have a country to lose if we don't stop this
madness.

Perhaps if a free press would simply do its job, the USA wouldn't be in
this position. With the press carrying Bush's water, the job of
disseminating critical information for mass consumption becomes much
harder. Alternative networks are still in their infancy.

the washington times would never carry a story about bush wrong doing.
their editor is too busy sucking bush's ***** to hear the truth. and even
if he heard it, rule number one at the times is bush does no wrong.
whenever bush does something wrong, refer to rule no 1.
the neocons rule at the times.
