The "trial" rebuttal Pt.2 |
The following post was submitted Aug 1 2005 by Mark K. Bilbo, who some
of you are already aware is a serious man who most likely is not
president of his local chapter of the "J Young Fan Club".

burst into the room and exclaimed:
In this opening segment, we're going to look at the massive overlaps of
NNTP's from "J Young", Mr. "Getiner" and the assorted AOL "loose cannon"
forgeries.
While I am aware that NNTP's are *not* exclusive to a given sender's
computer, I think you will find that the rather extreme overlaps of
NNTP's between "J" and his alleged socks bears closer scrutiny.
Certainly, the number of "coincidences" in this regard is extraordinary,
and you will also want to consider the similarities in newsgroups posted
to. This segment will no doubt be a bit tedious, and I apologise for
that. However, it will lay the groundwork for the coming submissions.
And, believe me, this is just a small sample of the number of times
identical NNTP's show up amongst these various User ID's. Many others
have been omitted, both to save bandwidth and avoid eyestrain...<g>
Well, NNTP is "Network News Transport Protocol." It's the definition
for
how Usenet news is moved around the 'Net and consists of a set of
commands
and informational messages exchanged between machines (your machine and
a
server or server to server). You won't normally see NNTP as it happens
"in
the background."
I suspect you're thinking of the IPA (Internet Protocol Address) which
identifies machines on the 'Net. And the interesting one is the NNTP
posting host which identifies the machine that originated the message.
Problem being that AOL no longer provides Usenet. All the posts come
out
of a set of proxies such as:
cache-mtc-ad08.proxy.aol.com (64.12.116.202)
Depending on how they do their load balancing (I haven't the foggiest),
there may be little to no correlation at all. Usually I'd say numbers
that
are that close are suspicious but since AOL dumped Usenet and AOL users
have to come in via the web, it's harder to say...

<I'm top-posting to save scrolling time, lest anyone be offended by my
snipping "J's" post>
In light of juror Ray Fischer's departure tomorrow (for vacation), do you
have a time frame for concluding your rebuttals?
