Think before you speak |
Why do people jump on the mundering bandwagon whenever anybody
mentions abortion, speaking as a woman who has actually gone through
with the ordeal, I can only speak from personal experience and I know
that I made the right choice. I was in a very unstable relationship
and felt that to have a child that would neither be loved or cared for
as it should be wouldn't be fair on either myself, the child, or the
state that would end up looking after it. So before jumping into the
moral high ground actually think about why the majority of women
actally go through with the procedure. It is not because the are
sleeping with every Tom, ***** or Harry and not being careful. It is
because they are actually thinking about the child. If they will be
able to give it everything it needs or even if they would be able to
cope with it emotionally or mentally, because I think we have all had
enough of the horror stories of child abuse, if those monsters had
just had an abortion in the first place they wouldn't have been able
to be in the position to put the child through the hell they do. I'm
not saying that everyone that has had an abortion would turn out to be
like that but it could put a lot of children at risk or in state care.
Because I know myself that I wouldn't have been able to cope and would
have had to give it away. So before people starts talking about 'it's
a life, your killing an innocent life' up to 16 weeks it is acctually
a bunch of cells and I would prefer to think about it as preserving
the lives of the people already living.
