Nobody has performed any criminal acts against you, and nobody is
trying to deprive you of liberty via criminal acts.

the charges have not been dropped. What's more, you are still
attending pre-trial hearings, as you have admitted.
The Solicitor has had more than enough time to view the police video,
and if the charges has not been dropped yet, they are unlikely to be
dropped.
Unlike you, I have the intelligence to understand the normal sequence
of events.

a felony, and the solicitor feels that she has enough evidence to take
the case to trial. You and your lawyer are being given time in order
to put your own case together so that you have a fair trial.
We do not determine if the case goes to trial, your county solicitor
does. And if she feels that the evidence does not support the
charges, then the charges will be dropped. Since they have not yet
been dropped, the chances are exceptional that you WILL stand trial
for assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and DUI. All that
remains is having a trial date set. And that date is likely to be 6
mos. to a year from now, given your county's history.
