Object: Was Bill Clinton the kiss of death for John Kerry?
Once again Democratic Voters have to ask themselves, "Was Bill Clinton the kiss of death
again?" If you are a hardcore political watcher like myself then you would agree that
coming out of the debates and the media hyped weapons story, should have given John Kerry
an edge, but in the last days of the election, Kerry chose to campaign with Bill Clinton in
must win states and, except for Pennsylavia, Kerry lost states that Bill Clinton campaigned
in for him. Will hardcore Democrats ever get the message that the Clinton Era is over and
it is time to move on to something else?

Why not? Jesus belonged to a religion (Judaism) that does not outlaw
abortion, and at the time he lived abortion was fairly common (induced
with abortifacient herbs), yet we have no recorded condemnation of it from
him.

In addition, one has to note that today's credulous drools have *no
knowledge of the actual history of their 'faith'*: the idea that a foetus in
the early stages of pregnancy is 'a human person', and thus deserving of the
treatment appropriate to such, is a actually a *surprisingly recent notion*
within the 2,000-year history of Christain idiocy. Even such central
Christain 'thinkers' as Saint Augustine and Thomas Aquinas did not share the
modern 'pro-lifer's' view -- in fact, Augustine remarkably (and, in the
circumstances, *hilariously*...!) compares the foetus in the early stages of
pregnancy to *vegetation*!!
It was not until 1869 -- yes, *1869*!!! -- and the Apostolicae Sedis of the
reactionary Pope Pius IX, that the so-called 'Catholic Church' got round to
deciding that all abortion was homicide. And you have to wait until *1974*
to see the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith issue a
"Declaration on Procured Abortion", ignoring the first 1,800 years of
Catholic history by arguing that not only was abortion forbidden, but that
"one can never claim freedom of opinion as a pretext for attacking the
rights of others, most especially the right to life."
So we see, yet again, how the vast and revolting scam that is 'religion'
involves people continually being encouraged to feel and pretend that
they're part of something that they're not: they're made to think their
childish personal prejudices -- uninformed, hate-filled, self-serving, venal
and contingent -- derive from some 'ancient wisdom' and embody 'eternal
verities', when in fact it's all just *******, made up 'to order' as and
when required...
Katt.

As a president he was hands-down better than Bush will ever dream of.
He
had the morals of a mink, but he was a better president.

Examples???

I think Clinton's popularity is still 20 points above Bush's.
Bush is just a suit run by Wolfritz, Kristol, et all.
