Object: Was Jesus a Leftist?
"The leftist of the oversocialized type tries to get off his psychological
leash and assert his autonomy by rebelling. But usually he is not strong
enough to rebel against the most basic values of society. Generally
speaking, the goals of today's leftists are NOT in conflict with the
accepted morality. On the contrary, the left takes an accepted moral
principle, adopts it as its own, and then accuses mainstream society of
violating that principle."

Well, why wouldn't it be relevant? 21:14 Forit shall come to pass in
that day that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and
I will destroy thy chariots.
Robert B. winn

Amazing! That's surely a prophecy. I bet Isaiah wrote it just for you to
make a fool of yourself this once.

So what are you going to do when there are no cars running?
Robert B. Winn

Make myself a car out of Isaiah-wrought papier-mache.

Well, you could say the same thing about the sun coming up in the

So, now you try and justify your circular reasoning with illogical
reasoning.

The fact that the sun is in the sky does not prove that it
is really there. That would be circular reasoning.

Nope, science has proven the sun exists. And, you can't prove the
Bible to be true by quoting more and more scripture from it. Based on
your logic, I can prove that Peter Pan exists by quoting from the
storybook of Peter Pan. Surely you can see that this it totally

How do you know? And, what _person_ can verify that the Bible is

Isaiah was recognized as a prophet of

"some people"? Ok, I know "some people" who claim they know Peter
Pan, and using your logic, he must exist.

Notice
that by your reasoning, Isaiah's prophecy of the Assyrian conquest of

Yep, that's correct. You can't prove the Bible is true by quoting the
Bible, just like I can't make any claims about Peter Pan existing by
quoting Peter Pan.

Weren't you the person who was saying that Hezekiah's
tunnel could not exist because Isaiah wrote about it?

Nope, I never claimed that. Although, I can believe you will now lie
and say I did.
And guess what, there is mention of the ocean in Mobey *****, and since
oceans exist, that must make Mobey ***** true too.

So, in short, you refute your own logic when I say that Peter Pan
exists, but somehow, in your twisted littel mind, you feel that after
refuting your own logic that it's only valid for you to prove the
Bible is true. Interesting, invalid little twist there. I suspect
you see how your logic is invalid but you aren't man enough to admit
it when it comes to your own arguments. Big surprise, coming from a
whackjob such as yourself.

Well, you could say the same thing about the sun coming up in the

The fact that the sun is in the sky does not prove that it

Nope, science has proven the sun exists. And, you can't prove the
Bible to be true by quoting more and more scripture from it. Based on
your logic, I can prove that Peter Pan exists by quoting from the
storybook of Peter Pan. Surely you can see that this it totally
ILLOGICAL. Or, maybe you just like to try and deceive people by
making things up to justify your babbling.

Yep, that's correct. You can't prove the Bible is true by quoting the

Weren't you the person who was saying that Hezekiah's

Nope, I never claimed that. Although, I can believe you will now lie

And guess what, there is mention of the ocean in Mobey *****, and since

So, in short, you refute your own logic when I say that Peter Pan
exists, but somehow, in your twisted littel mind, you feel that after
refuting your own logic that it's only valid for you to prove the
Bible is true. Interesting, invalid little twist there. I suspect
you see how your logic is invalid but you aren't man enough to admit
it when it comes to your own arguments. Big surprise, coming from a
whackjob such as yourself.

Well, go ahead and study Peter Pan, and I will study Isaiah.

I find it quite humerous that you refute YOUR very own logic but then

I don't know, Bobbo, I just don't know. At first I thought that more

I don't know, Bobbo, I just don't know. At first I thought that more
than one copy might have been made, but then I realized that an
explanation like that would be just too easy for a xian like yourself.

Maybe you could ask your God? Or, maybe Isaiah foretold the answer!

I'll leave it in your capable hands.

Well, I have given the matter some study, and this is what I think. I
believe that there were numerous copies printed on a printing press.
The printing press was invented by Johann Gutenburg thousands of years
after Isaiah wrote his book.

So? McDonalds has the largest number of restaurant outlets in the world.
That doesn't mean McDonalds has the best food of any restaurant. Quanity
does not equal quality.

I see what you mean. I have this copy of Newsweek on my coffee table,
and I was shocked to find that it reads word for word the same as a
copy
of Newsweek that I saw at the library.

That is amazing. How do you suppose it happened?

Well, but you miss one pertinent fact. All books printed by the same
printing press are the same. Books in Isaiah's time were copied by
hand. There were very few copies of books, and copies could vary
depending on the scribe who made the copy. Notice that there are
numerous versions of the Bible in only one language, English. The
book of Isaiah varies in all of those versions.

Not that it's relevant, but no, it doesn't.
