And how many of those workers are still reliant upon foodstamps and

I know all too well. And there are plenty of the working poor who
either don't know they're qualified, are turned down because of worker
ignorance, are too proud to accept assistance, or make a sliver over
the limit.

I asked you if you know -- not because I needed an answer to the
question for which I already know? I just wanted to see if you realise
the economic slump we're in. Just because there are jobs, doesn't mean
they are jobs people can survive on.
And there are plenty of the working poor who
either don't know they're qualified, are turned down because of worker

How many working poor...
Apparently you don't know -- you're too subsidized to care.

What Bobby will never say or acknowledge is that once a worker has
been out of work long enough (I forget the number) (s)he's no longer
counted on those lists. Lots of workers are dropping off the count now
and somehow Bobby thinks it's a good thing that thousands of workers
have been out of work so long that they're not even worth counting
anymore.

WASHINGTON - The number of new people signing up for jobless benefits
(search) dropped last week to the lowest level in more than three years, a
potentially encouraging sign for a labor market experiencing a bumpy
recovery.
Still, last week's decline was exaggerated by seasonal adjustment
difficulties related to temporary closings of auto plants for
annual retooling for new model cars, a Labor Department analyst
cautioned. The figures ended up being adjusted for auto plant
closings, which take place each summer. Although some closings
took place last week, bigger companies weren't expected to start
their temporary shutdowns until the following week, the analyst
said.

I never said the economy is tanked.
And I also know that a President has little to do with what happens in the

I also know that economist like Allen Greenspan have stated before that the
economy shifts and goes in cycles.
Usually it takes 4 to 8 years to feel the effects of a Presidents

Fact: The economy is recovering.
Fact: Most liberals want to believe it isn't and would rather see it crash

Fact: With most liberals wanting to see the economy crash for policital
reasons, it shows that liberals don't care about the working person at all.

A LOT of factors were involved. Most significantly were factors such as, an

We have to adjust to a change in times.
Just like all other periods...just like when we had to adjust to the
industrial revolution and families had to adjust.
Jobs are going overseas, they have been for some time now.
Because the Republicans have sold us out.
No, Republicans are not to blame for that at all.
Nor are Democrats..it is just big business going over seas because it is a
LOT cheaper for them to go over seas.
The average person in the U.S. earns approximately $16.00 per hour
The average cost for health benefits paid out by a company is approximately
$8.00 per hour.
The average cost per employee for most companies is approximately $24.00 per
hour.
They can move their operations overseas and pay someone approximately $8.00
per hour and not have to pay out benefits...
To a C.E.O., it makes business sense.
For the average American it isn't good.
But we now live in a time where Americans are going to either have to
retrain into new fields, become more computer literate, and adjust.
This is basic economics..plain and simple.
Unless you are prepared to demonstrate how this is all Republicans fault.
Nothing Bush has
done or could have done would change that.
Keep telling yourself that.
I don't have too, a basic economics course or business course will tell us
that.
We live in a time where we have to adjust to a global market.

Clinton reacted to the economy, Bush tries to manipulate it by
placing
our country deep in debt so that he can give the rich a tax break
at
YOOUR CHILDREN'S expense. The market reacts to that.
And you never did explain this:
http://www.buzzflash.com/areyoubetteroff/
And you never explained why the economy is recovering now.
It isn't. Jobs are flat, for example.
No, jobs are being created.
Keep telling yourself that.
I don't have to keep telling myself that, Government reports are telling all
of us that.
Like the actual numbers?
http://www.buzzflash.com/areyoubetteroff/#jobs
We are living in a time where things are shifting. This is an
adjustment
period.
We have to "adjust" to a poor economy.
We have to adjust to a change in times.
Just like all other periods...just like when we had to adjust to the
industrial revolution and families had to adjust.
The current adjustment involves class warfare and the loss of liberty.
I'll pass.
Jobs are going overseas, they have been for some time now.
Because the Republicans have sold us out.
No, Republicans are not to blame for that at all.
Nor are Democrats..it is just big business going over seas because it is a
LOT cheaper for them to go over seas.
And the Republicans created that scenario. Better hope they don't
privatize the prison system. (Which Republicans often suggest.)
No problem.
http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0219-09.htm
Nothing Bush has
done or could have done would change that.
Keep telling yourself that.
I don't have too, a basic economics course or business course will tell us
that.
WRONG. READ:

We live in a time where we have to adjust to a global market.
"We?" I don't have to adjust. In fact, the whole "overseas jobs"
thing helps me. Defendants ***** a brick when they hear we have to
depose their employees and they are in INDIA.
David, don't try and sell your phoney lawyer ***** with me..I don't believe
you are a lawyer, I had someone check it out, there is absolutley no
evidence of you ever being a lawyer...so don't think your ***** is working.
I love it that you envy lawyers so much. I don't understand it, but I
love it.
You claim to make a half of a million dollars a year..and you sit in a news
group, bitching and whining.
It doesn't take that long. I have a voice recognition system. I do it
while I work. And since I am a plaintiff¹s attorney, I get a cut of
the final judgment. PLUS, I never said only half a million. (The
AVERAGE home in Southern California is now over $500,000.)
That means nothing to someone
who lives off the taxpayer, like you, but it does to others.
Earning a living as a Correctional Officer is a honest living and your
attacking state and federal employees
only shows your true hatred and ignorance.
I'm just pointing out that when we look at your job situation since you
were a kid, three things stand out:
1) You need to work around men.
2) You need to work for the government.
3) You have been reckless at work. (You violated flight line policy and
you sit around using the Internet while your companions work.)
And every single line above is nothing but a desperate attempt for you to
make something up.
Make something up? It is all true!

Yea and?
That is normally how the economy acts.
No, *****, it isn't.
Yes Ray, it is. And it must be kept under control.
Which is why the Feds raise and lower interest rates.
Every single time a
report
comes out that indicates the economy is improving,
liberals
like
yourself
get upset.
Every time a report comes out that indicates that the
economy
is
stagnant you develop selective stupidity.
No, because all indicators show the economy improving.
Stop lying, *****.
Stop living in denial jerk
Even you admitted the economy is tanked. You just blame
Clinton
instead of Bush.
I never said the economy is tanked.
And I also know that a President has little to do with what
happens
in
the
economy.
Then why did you blame Clinton?
I play your silly game with you. Clinton alone did not save the
economy
nor
ruin it.
So you lied again when you said that.
A LOT of factors were involved. Most significantly were factors
such
as, an
over inflated
economy, dot. com's crashing, Consumer Price Index had the wrong
figures
for
the first 3 years of Clinton's administration.
There were no wrong figures of any importance.
I also know that economist like Allen Greenspan have stated
before
that
the
economy shifts and goes in cycles.
Yeah. Republican/Democrat cycles. See:
http://www.buzzflash.com/areyoubetteroff/
I will speak for myself and not repeat liberal trash.
Am I better off today? Yes, absoluetely.
But you live off the government and Bush keeps borrowing money and
pouring it into the government.
I do not live off the government, I earn a living like anyone else.
LIAR. Everything you have is paid for by t he government. Name
something that isn't.
So I work for the state...I earn a living.
People on welfare also work for the state.
I am not on welfare.
What is your problem with people who work for government?
None. But you claim to be a Republican.
What does being a Republican have to do with working for government?
Are we supposed to work for free???
You are beginning to sound like a Democrat.
Are you able to answer any questions?
Are we supposed to work for free???
Why do you hate government workers?
We need smaller government.
That isn't answering my question.
Usually it takes 4 to 8 years to feel the effects of a
Presidents
administrations policies with the economy.
That would be basic economics 101.
So the Bush recession was Reagan's fault? Carter's economic
problems
were that of Nixon?
I play your stupid little game blaming Clinton, but I unlike you
I
know
better.
You blamed him for the current economic crisis.
I play your stupid little games.
By lying. You sure have a LOT of excuses for lying.
If you were a lawyer, you would fit right in because so many lawyers do
lie.
And you lie.
You bigotry has already been establish long ago. You are getting
boring.
This is what you do when you have no answers.
As far as bigotry goes, I have proven..with out a shadow of a doubt that you
are a 100% grade A Bigot
In your mind.
No, in your post. I have all the evidence necessary if anyone wants
to see it. All you do is snip and deny.
Who really, honestly, and truly believes you are not a bigot?
Everyone but you.
A person would have to be blind to think you are not a bigot.
Or lie about it.
More denial from needle *****.
I know that Clinton was in officer during a good period, I know
most
of
it
was luck.
LOL! I thought it was cycles.
You are not smart enough to explain how Clinton supposably saved
the
economy, nor are you able to explain how Bush supposably ruined
the
economy.
