So what does that prove? That folks who claimed that there was were
wrong. There is no link between shoplifting and cancer either. What
does that prove? That shoplifting is morally right? It proves nothing
that pro-choice side is trying to prove.

properly done study has ever supported the ABC link, no

So, pro-lifers lie...so do pro-choicers. For one thing...pro-lifers
aren't against choices...that in itself is a lie. So what does that
prove? That both sides engage in lies? I'm sure that neither side
would approve my being denied the choice of eating boiled eggs for
breakfast...so both sides are pro-choice about a whole bunch of things
in life. Furthermore, I would be very interested, as would many
others, in just how you define the phrase "properly done" when it
comes to the study regarding abortion. Is that just a doubel-speak for
"done in a way that agrees with my side of the argument?" So, you
see, you are not exempt from involvement in deception. The whole point
is that I just 2 days ago read an article in my local paper from a Dr.
Joseph Dipoala who is a physician in private practice and his view on
the matter pretty much lines up with what has been historically true.
He stated that from 1850 until 1970 the fetus was considered by
science to be a human life and that is what led to the prohibition of
abortion in the United States. He clearly stated that obstetrics
textbooks afirm that the status of the human fetus has been elevated
to that of a patient who, in large measure, can be given the same
meticulous care that obstetricians provide for pregnant women. He also
states that despite additional sound scientific evidence of DNA and
ultrasound research establishing that human beings begin their
existence at conception, the medical profession changed its position
against abortion. He states that this decision was not basedon a new
scientific data but resulted from the political pressure of
legislative and judicial decisions made from 1970 until the
irrational Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade in 1973. The truth is
that. The pro-choice side relied on the courts and politics not some
new scientific evidence to determine that the fetus does not belong in
the category of a member of the human family. In other words, they
relied on idiots like Bush(i.e. plitician) and snakes(i.e. lawyers) to
push their agenda. These two types are the most notably dishonest and
unscrupulous professions on the face of this planet and these were and
are the champions, the knights in shining armor(the heroes), of the
cause of pro-choice. You couldn't pick from a pool of more evil men to
champion your cause if you picked from Pol-Pot, Stalin and Hitler.
Now, since the pro-choice side shows such poor judgment regarding
their choice of champions, why should we trust its judgment regarding
any idea of what are right choices and wrong choices regarding
abortion? Where's their credibility?

Pro-liar *****.
and that is what led to the prohibition of
abortion in the United States.
Another lie. Abortion was banned because it was dangerous.
In the mid 19th Century, a movement began to tighten abortion
regulation. __Spearheaded by the medical community__, by the late
1860's this movement had succeeded in establishing uniform abortion
prohibition in England and throughout most of the United States.
Outside of necessity to preserve the life of the mother, abortion was
prohibited. These laws, or similar successor provisions, would remain
in place in all fifty states until the 1960's.
The above is from http://members.aol.com/abtrbng/abortl.htm
Note that this move was not spearheaded by politicians and lawyers,
but by the scientific community. Abortion may have been dangerous to
the mother, but it was certainly dangerous to the child. I know that
you did not include, nor intend to include both patients in your
statement even though my quoted physician clearly considered them both
patients in his care as was the case prior to the 1970 when there was
a sudden push in the other direction. This push was not spearheaded by
the medical(i.e. scientific) community, but by a bunch of idiotic
politicians and lawyers who decided to stick their noses into a
profession they knew nothing about( at least compared to the members
of the professional medical community that was scientifically
grounded), They hijacked and bullied their way into imposing their
medically undereducated and ignorant litigious and greedy for filthy
lucre opinions on the medical establishment. These are the founders of
your movement, these are the champions that you admire and respect.
These are your high ideals and lofty goals and these are the levels
you would like to drag the rest of us (kicking and screaming) down to.
Well, no thank you. Some of us have slightly higher standards than
that and certainly loftier and nobler goals than that. But if you wish
to wallow in the cesspool of intellectual garbage, feel free...just
don't drag the rest of us down with you.

Right...you insist that I am a perfect liar. I noticed that you didn't
provide the information I requested. It's kind of hard to provide what
doesn't exist...isn't it? At was indeed lawyers and politicians that
spearheaded the push for legalizing abortion and was not a natural
outgrowth of science and medicine and that is why Roe v. Wade ended
up ruling in favor of abortion on the basis of the right to privacy
issue. The ruling had nothing to do with science since human rights is
not within the scientific domain. So, you see, I'm not a perfect liar
at all. I failed to lie and told the truth instead. That makes me as
imperfect as you. I am quite willing to settle for being right, now

The truth of the matter is that you have no idea what you are writing

even when it is clear that I am not the source of the writing, you
simply dismiss it as a lie(actually my lie now because I posted it
here). That must mean that if I bring in 100000( or 1000000 for that
matter) sources that support my claim, you would simply dismiss them
all as liars. So, everyone who disagrees with your view is a liar. You
are the only honest person in the room. Just like the top Enron bunch

that, why should anyone believe anything YOU say?

Are you _still_ whining because you got caught lying, *****?
You never mentioned what the lie was...did you? You sort of have to
offer the "truth" to contrast it against or else we can't tell that
you're not lying.
I noticed that you didn't bother to address the issue that you think
everyone but you is a liar anyways. We can take that to be true since
you never even bothered to contest that claim and the supporting
argument out of which it arose.
It seems that you would rather talk about anything, including lying,
rather than address the real topic under discussion here and you have
time and time again, switched subjects away from that main topic. But
no doubt what I just posted here is a lie too...well, according to you
it is. Do you know how easy it is to simply call someone a liar. No
effort is needed. But to do the intellectual legwork that proves
something to be a lie...now that takes work, which you have shown
little to no interest in performing. I suspect you've got a kind of
cushy life..doncha? Nice little expensive house and expensive
car(maybe a SUV...HUMMER). Yep...can't expect to get much work out of
folks like you. You're used to creampuffs for breakfast and maybe a
couple of illegals for maids. Yup...gave you just what you
wanted...something else to whine about rather than talk about the real
subject here. Why don't you prove me right and go off tangent on the
maids and house etc...that way you don't have to deal with the real
subject...go ahead.
Well, you could also talk about how it is the woman's body...well,
guess what? A woman, generally speaking, doesn't have a penis...and
that growing child inside her does when it is a boy...so, you can't
say that it is part of the woman...it ain't. When you say that a woman
can do anything she wants with her body, even if we ignore the fact
there are two bodies involved, you are dead wrong. The goverment has
all sorts of laws that restrict what women can do with their bodies.
When you claim that I am interested in taking away her right to
choice, you are yet again wrong. The only choice taken away is for
them to kill the developing child and that is a choice no one should
have the right to make. No one should have the right to kill someone
simply because they are in the way and can't defend themselves. The
self defense issue doesn't stand up either...because I don't have the
right to kill someone because they, without intending to, gave me the
flu. Neither does it give the woman the right to chose to destroy the
life of the unborn simply because of the uncomfortable side-effects of
pregnancy. All of this flies in the face of reason. The viability
defense doesn't work either...a person on life support isn't
viable...he's just as dependent as the unborn for his life support and
yet, we are not allowed to kill them both...just one(good old double
standard). Then there was that old stand-by that I shot down some
couple of years ago...it doesn't have an independent circulatory
system...neither do conjoined twins and that doesn't make them any
less two distinct individuals or human beings with all the rights to
protection of their lives. It might be the reason I don't hear that
defense anymore. Then there is that business of ...well, the law and
society say that it is a human being at the time of birth. So what? I
didn't ask to find out what the feelings of society were...I asked
what it is that the unborn is. So, all I have seen so far is very bad
arguments and sidestepping the issue by you and the rest of the
opposition to life. As I stated before, you have yet to address a
single issue I have raised and emerge the victor. Heck, I'm even
rooting for you to and you just can't manage it.

Heck, I'm even
rooting for you to and you just can't manage it.- Hide quoted text -

Yes, again. No established link.
So what does that prove? That folks who claimed that there was were
wrong. There is no link between shoplifting and cancer either. What
does that prove? That shoplifting is morally right? It proves nothing
that pro-choice side is trying to prove.
When we pro-choice say that that anti-choicers lie to
support their claims, this study supports our that NO
properly done study has ever supported the ABC link, no
matter how loudly the fiction is shouted.
So, pro-lifers lie...so do pro-choicers. For one thing...pro-lifers
aren't against choices...that in itself is a lie. So what does that
prove? That both sides engage in lies? I'm sure that neither side
would approve my being denied the choice of eating boiled eggs for
breakfast...so both sides are pro-choice about a whole bunch of things
in life.
The topic is abortion, not boiled eggs. THAT choice is
not a part of this discussion or the term.
Furthermore, I would be very interested, as would many
others, in just how you define the phrase "properly done" when it
comes to the study regarding abortion.
Statistically valid, with efforts taken to minimize
sampling bias and done so as to exclude methods such as
the ever-popular 'case-control' studies which have
already been proven to yield incorrect or distorted
results.
If you want to know how to conduct a study properly,
you should look it up.
Is that just a doubel-speak for
"done in a way that agrees with my side of the argument?" So, you
see, you are not exempt from involvement in deception.
Ah, I see you've reached a conclusion that supports
your bias without waiting for an answer. Shall we call
you dishonest now, or wait?
THAT is a dishonest strawman. If you can't argue
without resorting to such, you merely affirm the
history of dishonesty on the anti-choice side.
In other words, they
relied on idiots like Bush(i.e. plitician) and snakes(i.e. lawyers) to
push their agenda. These two types are the most notably dishonest and
unscrupulous professions on the face of this planet and these were and
are the champions, the knights in shining armor(the heroes), of the
cause of pro-choice.
And that is another lie.
You've already made up your mind and closed it - you
showed that in your claims. My credibility lies in the
science and your inability to answer simple questions
such as why pregnant women have less rights in your
eyes than anyone else.

There is nothing dishonest with an honest evaluation of where the
whole pro-choice movement has its roots. Furthermore, as I attributied
this to someone who is in the scientific community as a practicing
physician it is that educated professional with a doctorate that you
are calling dishonest, not me. I suppose you have a sheepskin to match
his along with years of dedicated practice in the field of medicine?

Human rights is not a scientific issue. Therefore, your response
shows that you are interested in the political and judicial aspects of
abortion, not the scientific ones(which I have already pointed out was
the foundation of pro-choice). You have just proven my case.
