Don't know, but id does remind me of a joke.
Stalin is addressing the May day crowd in Red Square. "Comrades" He
says "This is the greatest day in history, for I have in my hand a
telegram from Trotsky apologising to me. I will now read it to you:
"Dear Stalin. You were right, I was wrong. You are the true heir of
Lenin. I should apologise. Trotsky".".
The crowd goes silent for a moment and then begins to cheer
rapturously. As soon as the cheering dies down, Stalin's personal
tailor, who is Jewish, asks to have a quiet word in Stalin's ear.
"Excuse me" he says "begging your pardon, and not meaning any
disrespect to you, this is indeed a historical message, for the ages,
but you read it with not quite the right feeling". Stalin turns to the
crowd and speaks to them: "This man here is my personal tailor, and,
like Trotsky, is Jewish. He tells me that I have read this message
without the right amount of feeling, so I am going to let him read the
telegram to you" and hands the telegram to his tailor.
"Dear Stalin" he begins "YOU were right, I was wrong? YOU are the true
heir of Lenin? I should APOLOGISE????? Trotsky".
