I just watched the Penn & Teller "*****!" episode on the Bible. If you
haven't seen this, you should go out of your way to do so.

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western
Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this
at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly
insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are
so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty
neat idea.

Watch their show on environmentalism. It's beyond "*****."
Heck, even their show on gun control contained a lot of
*****.
In the grand scheme of things, it appears that Penn & Teller
are ADDING a great deal to the world's supply of *****...

I wasn't aware that P & T were anti-enviroment.

They're not. But they're not pro-the-sky-is-falling either.

They are pro-envirment. They are just realistic about it.
They have a lot of the same views as one of the founders and former
president of greenpeace, who they featured on their program.
You can hear what ecologist Patrick Moore had to say in a clip on this
page, just click on "Greenpeace Defector" under his picture on the
right.

Perhaps, I can't say as this is the only episode I've seen. But this
specific episode was good.

An immoral god - a hangover from stone age minds - still corrupts human
mentality with its scapegoat justice and the threat of eternal damnation.

Half of them are good, half the others are terrible (Cato
Institute propaganda mostly).
The one on Mother Theresa was interesting.

I have to agree with this.
The show on recycling was not even *****, just empty air.
And the show on the endangered species act ...
One thing to keep in mind is that Penn is a Cato institute fellow. It
takes a lot of ***** and hot air.
