Hagan wants end to '***** Brown' grandstand row
Indigenous activist Stephen Hagan says he wants to work with the
Toowoomba Sports Ground Trust rather than fight them over the
controversial 'ES ***** Brown' grandstand in southern Queensland.
Mr Hagan lost a High Court application to have the word '*****'
removed from the grandstand at the Toowoomba Athletic Oval.
Now the Federal Magistrates Court has dismissed a bid by the Toowoomba
Sports Ground Trust to recover legal costs awarded to it by the High
Court.
Mr Hagan says he wants to draw his long-running battle to a close.
"I could do both mate. I prefer not to go back into court, but if
that's the only path those guys are familiar with then so be it," he
said.

Australia, and when it is it is rarely used in an offencive way, as it is in
the USA.

Not at all, in fact "*****" works quite well. It was you who stated
that it was hardly ever used in Australia. In my experience, words
such as *****, coon & boong are used reguarly to describe them,
usually (though not always) intended in a derogative way.
