At 6'4" plus, at least I used to be, now I think I am just about an inch
shorter, my one time trying it in my MGA coupe was more than enough. I
still feel it in my back more then 30 years later. I love to drive that
little car, but never again will I try something so stupid as to try
making love in one. My girlfriend of the time didn't even talk to me for
a couple months.
(Of course I was out to sea for most of that time, but still...)

After the Chevette fiasco (which was out on the unpaved Beeler Road behind
Addicks Dam, back then), I decided to look for more conventional
venues...and when I met my future wife eight years later, it didn't hurt
that she had a waterbed. ;-)

I have never tried a waterbed, seen a few, but never tried one even to sleep
on.

Unfortunately, the car between my first (the '63 Valiant) and the Chevette
was a '69 VW Karmann Ghia...and I'm 1m84 tall. I'd still be hospitalized
somewhere had I tried *anything* in that car...;-)

Oh yes, the Karmann Ghia, possibly had even less room then the MGA, at least
the MGA had leg and foot room. I have been in a Karmann Ghia only once, no
leg room at all for me. That is one thing I could never understand about the
German car manufacturers, they never once seemed to build a car that would
fit the mythical German male, tall, broad-shouldered, long-legged,
long-armed. Every one of their cars was built for a short, scrawny guy with
small feet and short legs.
