Let's not get disgusting. Lima beans, maybe, but peas and carrots?

BROCCOLI!!!

I'll see your broccoli (and I'm with Bush 41 on that issue - hate it!)
and
raise you...cauliflower!

They're all good - not like peas and carrots. (Not that I have
anything against peas.)

Peas are disgusting! They're only good for flinging at your fellow
diners

P

They're useful for that, indeed...but the best defense against them is
that
they're edible. If I was going to go for a wholesale violation of
Amendment
VIII, I'd consider using asparagus...

Eeeek! That's downright criminal! Asparagus is yummy!

Peas make me vomit ;P

They make me fart.

SNORT! Damnit, that hurt! :)

You shot a pea out of your nose? Better than an aspirin I have to say.

I eat my peas with honey.
I have done all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny.
But it sticks them to my knife.

I'll see your broccoli (and I'm with Bush 41 on that issue - hate it!)
and raise you...cauliflower!

I'll raise you a pile of Brussels sprouts!

I must be weird, I happen to like broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels
sprouts. So does Diane.

I loathe Brussel sprouts, but I love broccoli and cauliflower. My
all-time favorite is spinach. Yum! :)

However the cat seems to dislike all of them. (I have no idea why, aren't
cats supposed to like green food?)

My elder feline likes to eat grass.

That has something to do with settling their stomachs or something along
those lines. Of course, the grass *will end up on the carpet you know.
What I can explain is the dogs have developed a taste for pine cones since
moving here...

Since they can't eat Euel Gibbons, guess that's a close second....

I tried making that joke here and *nobody knew what I was talking about!

Damn kids...I remember too many of those commercials.

I feel old...

I know the feeling...I've still got the attitude of 20, stuck in a body of
51.75.

Heh. Not only do I recall the "did you ever eat a pine cone" ad, but I
have a copy of _Stalking the Wild Asparagus_ around here somewhere.
Of course, stalking an asparagus isn't quite up with stalking a bird or
mouse.

In fact you can buy "kitty grass" at pet stores, for those of us without
actual yards.

You can? I'm all ears! (_This_ should be good! :-)
