In fact you can buy "kitty grass" at pet stores, for those of us without
actual yards.

What I can explain is the dogs have developed a taste for pine cones since
moving here...

You can? I'm all ears! (_This_ should be good! :-)

Let's not get disgusting. Lima beans, maybe, but peas and carrots?

BROCCOLI!!!

I'll see your broccoli (and I'm with Bush 41 on that issue - hate it!)
and
raise you...cauliflower!

I'll raise you a pile of Brussels sprouts!

I must be weird, I happen to like broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels
sprouts.
So does Diane.

I loathe Brussel sprouts, but I love broccoli and cauliflower. My all-time
favorite is spinach. Yum! :)

If the spinach is raw I enjoy it, but I dislike it cooked. (I used to like
okra, but the mayor of my hometown grew tons of it, and I seem to have
overdosed on it. I haven't liked it in at least 30 years.)

However the cat seems to dislike all of them. (I have no idea why, aren't
cats supposed to like green food?)

My elder feline likes to eat grass.

Actually most cats will eat grass if given a chance to, it helps their
stomach with hairballs. I used to buy plastic tubs that you added water to in
order to grow your own barley grass for my former cat. Haven't seen them in
quite a few years or I would still be buying them for the new cat.

I love spinach either way. I remember having okra cassarole back when I
lived in FL and thought it was great. Tried making it myself once and got to
grossed out by the mucus on the okra that I tossed it right in the garbage.

Ah, I did not know that. I ususally stick a blob of Petromalt (animal

Had a classic tabby years ago, with a taste for beer. What a great cat!
Now, we have one that has a thing for coffee. Strangest thing I ever saw.
Pretty Girl will get right up onto the desk with me in the morning, and stick
her whole head into my coffee mug. I'm usually not awake enough to notice
at first. Imagine my surprise at sipping from a mug full of fur.

Many years ago, I had one who liked my eggs, potatoes and onions for
breakfast. I can understand the eggs, but ...

My daughter's cat loves macaroni and cheese, but she's already a bit of a
butterball, so she only gets a small taste. I also had a cat that loved
salty crunchy things like pretzels, Doritos, potato chips, etc.

Had a classic tabby years ago, with a taste for beer. What a great cat!

LOL - How bizarre! Though my pet rat in college loved a little beer in a
bottle cap. Must have had something to do with the general atmosphere of
living in a dorm in 1979 ;)

Now, we have one that has a thing for coffee. Strangest thing I ever saw.
Pretty Girl will get right up onto the desk with me in the morning, and
stick
her whole head into my coffee mug. I'm usually not awake enough to notice
at first. Imagine my surprise at sipping from a mug full of fur.

Oh man, my husband would freak! He gets ***** at the cats enough as it
is. I couldn't imagine his reaction if he had a cup full of fur. Of course,
I'd laugh my ***** off at him and that would just make things worse ;)

Wakes you up quick it does! :-)

My immediate question was, "And how will he know this unless *YOU* tell
him?"
