Kerry's love for his fellow man exceeds all bounds. Yesterday,
he invited John Edwards over to his hotel room, knowing that
Theresa would not return for several hours. Kerry, Vietnam vet,
war hero, proud Democrat, was dressed in his dress navy blues,
adorned with all his medals. Edwards appeared, daintily attired
in a lovely Catholic schoolgirl's uniform, with maroon plaid skirt,
white bobby socks, and shiny black patent leather shoes. He
skipped merrily along, with books cradled close to his heaving,
bountiful chest, and teasingly licking a large lollipop in his right
hand. That wasn't the only tasty treat that would end up in his
right hand.
In Edward's enthusiasm, he dropped his books, and two of
Them suffered bent pages, and mild smudging. Mr. Kerry was
VERY angry at the young man's carelessness, and he declared
that Edwards was very NAUGHTY, and MUST be punished.
Edwards started to cry, and shake with fear at his transgression
and the necessary punishment. Kerry, in somber and serious
tones, like he uses when dodging questions in Presidential
debates, commanded that Edwards must be taken over his knee,
and spanked fifty times. Edwards cried, "No! Please.... No,
anything but that. PLEASE!!!!!"
But Kerry insisted, and pulled the blushing Edwards over his
lap, as Kerry sat on a hard, stiff wooden chair. Edwards
squirmed with fear about Kerry's lap. Kerry yanked Edwards'
panties down to his ankles, exposing the delicate skin of
Edwards luscious derriere to the fierce, Ghengis Khan-like
blows of Kerry's worn and grizzled palm. This was the same
palm Kerry had raised to swear that he was telling the truth
at the Congressional hearings in 1971.
As extra punishment, Kerry called in Max Cleland and
Christopher "Superman" Reeve to watch the proceedings.
Once Max had wheeled himself to a position from best to
view the necessary punishment, he took the situation
FIRMLY in hand for both himself and Chris. Chris had
just finished being "pleasured" by Roedy Green, who
loves Superman's "magnificent" pecker of steel.
Spank! Spank! The sound of Kerry's hand slapping off the
soft, white, virginal skin of Edwards plump backside. Spank!
Edwards whimpered in pain, sobbing softly, but slowly he
began to enjoy the strict attention being shown to his body
by the forceful, older man Kerry. Edwards knew that if they
were lucky enough to be elected, Kerry would keep his
promise, and make gay marriage legal. Edwards would then
fulfill his fantasy of being the first Vice-President to also be
the "First Lady".
Soon Edwards plump backside was glistening with
sweat, and glowing the same shade of purple as Kerry's
three Purple Hearts. And there was no one there to pin a
medal on Edwards But it was all worth it, because soon
EVERY man in the army, navy, air force and marines
would be able to fulfill their own gay fantasies instead
of getting nasty boo-boos from those "nuisance"
terrorists. Or being oppressed by those BRUTES, the
Republicans.
When the required series of strokes had been inflicted on
the poor, abused young man, his sobs began to trail off into
gentle moaning, and Kerry began to tenderly caress the soft
skin beneath his hand, and Edwards began to squirm with
excitement on the older man's lap.
"Let's talk about the first thing that pops up!", chuckled
Kerry, as Max "Take it to the Max!" Cleland began to take
off his shirt.
[Fade to black ... holes, while Michael Morre films everything
(and then eats five hamburgers and a roast chicken)]
"...The people can always be brought to the bidding of the
leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being
attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and

If you are a fellow American patriot and lover of the First Amendment, then
by these presents greetings. It is good that you seek rational and
democratic discussion of the great and urgent issues facing our nation.
Unfortunately, I think you've come to the wrong place. See the bottom of
this post for additional evidence--but this entire enormous thread is
dedicated to the display of the freshest original parts of such disruptive
anti-democratic tripe. With the witless assistance of the Bushevik trolls,
it only took a short time to build this "tower of babble".
Especially if you remember the old days of rational discussion in the
newsgroups, this triumph of noise over signal may sadden you. Hyde Park of
the world and cheap advertising are all that remain.
However, there are still alternatives. For example, there are many moderated
forums on the Internet where civil discussions and real conversations can be
found. Even better if you can build bridges to real people in the physical
world. For example, you could treat a rational RINO to a movie--like
Fahrenheit 9/11. Lots of good books still being published, or you could
write a letter to the editor for your local paper--you'll reach more real
people and have more impact than here. Or you could donate to the political
campaigns--I confess I've already made six donations. Just remember that big
money is harming democracy, that BushCo has more money than anyone, and that
if money alone decides elections then the American republic is already dead.
Last, but MOST important: VOTE! Your nation needs you NOW!
On the other hand, if you are a Bushevik troll, then in the immortal
floor-of-the-Senate words of the unloved ***** Cheney: "Go ***** yourself."
That mentality goes a long way towards explaining blather like this:

It's notable that Bush's followers would misrepresent Kerry's comment that
we should get to a point where terrorism is a nuissance to mean that we're
already there.
It's like when they said Saddam had already had nukes, but then had to
correct themselves - that he simply hoped someday maybe to get them.
This disconnect - between the reality and the goal - is one of many, many
reasons why they cannot be trusted.

Why don't you tell that to the families of those Servicemen that died

No, because of fucked up interpretations of the intelligence.
Even Bush called it "not compelling" until Tenet said "It's a slam-dunk

Why do you suppose Bush dismissed the intelligence, and accepted a sports
analogy?
But when Bill Clinton bombed the Sudan, he said Hussein was assisting

No the only person I've known to do that was you.
Gen. Brent Scowcroft (ret.): "Can we win the war on terrorism? Yes, I
think we can, in the sense that we can win the war on crime. There is
going to be no peace treaty on the battleship Missouri in the war on
terrorism, but we can break its back so that it is a horrible nuisance
and not a paralyzing influence on our societies." [U.S. Institute of
Peace, CONFERENCE ON AMERICA'S CHALLENGES IN A CHANGED WORLD, 9/5/02]
And Kerry said:
''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not
the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,''
''As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end
prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're
going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the
rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and
fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not
threatening the fabric of your life.''
But you're the one who said 231 Marine deaths in lebanon was a
nuisance. You should be ashamed. But we know you're not capable of
shame.

Chomskey is retarded. He blames everything on America, thinking that
if we were just nice enough, the world would like us. The problem is,
people are fundamentally different and have different viewpoints. On
a planet of 6 billion people, it follows that a fairly small
percentage of people would hate us and want to kill us, no matter what
we do, kind of like those 20 people that flew those jets into the WTC
and the Pentagon.

Filtering out the indignant Bush fanboy ad hominems (see, Jacobs - I
can spell that correctly!) and the typographical errors induced by
your white heat of righteous indignation, it is reduced to:
"Show me where we fucked the arabs over."
We, where to begin...
How about the next arch-nemesis, Iran? The US installed and
maintained a dictator in the Shah of Iran for decades until he was
eventually overthrown by a popular uprising. Now that country is
outside your direct control, they are all of a sudden the bad guys.
Yeah, right...
How about Iraq itself where the US supplied arms, including chemical
warfare agents to Saddam in the 1980s, only stopping when he got out
of (your) control by over-stepping the mark by invading Kuwait. You
had no problems with him gassing a million Kurds, in fact you supplied
the weapons he used to do it. It's only when he threatened your oil
supplies in Kuwait that you got over-worried. But you weren't worried
enough to actually depose him. You gave him a second chance.
How about Israel? That most loyal of American client states, who are
actively engaged in a policy of ethnic cleansing using US funds, US
weapons and no small amount of US intelligence (an oxymoron, I know,
but there we go...). Where do you think they got the technology to
build their 100+ nuclear warheads? So much for the US being
anti-proliferation.
How about the Taliban? They were funded and armed by the US when it
suited you to oppose the Russians on that terriroty. Never mind the
appalling human right record that the Taliban had. Didn't matter -
because they were on "your side". When they start to show a degree of
independence, all of a sudden they are "the enemy" and attacked. Not
for nothing when 1,000 opposing political, tribal and military leaders
met for a conference in Afghanistan a while back (a meeting that
didn't include the US) the *only* thing that they agreed upon was that
the indiscriminate US bombing of their country had to stop. The ONLY
thing. They are all bitter enemies, and they all agreed that what you
were doing was wrong and should stop.
If you like, I could move into how you fucked over the Balkans and
South American countries as well, but that's a little outside the
scope of your question and I don't want to seem over-keen.
Have a nice day.

All in all Paul, you have quite the racists view of the world. Do you
actually believe that the people of Iraq, Iran, Afg cannot act
independently?, that the influence of the white Americans is so
powerful that the long standing societies in the MidEast and Central
Asia cannot counter it?
You probably agree with Kerry that Bin Laden would have been captured
if only the white American "special forces" had been used in the fight
instead of the brown skinned locals. Do you also agree that the
Iraqis fighting on the side of the provisional Iraqi government should
not be considered part of the coalition and when they are killed not
counted as a percentage of the total dead?

I think you'll find I didn't say that - please point out where I did.
It's what's called a "strawman" argument - where a false assertion is
made against someone then disproved as though that person was wrong.
It doesn't fool anyone, but people do still try it from time to time.
Sweeping aside your own racist attitudes, you do raise an interesting
question: "why do people allow dictators to remain in power?".
It's an interesting question, and one that I can only guess at. For
most people, the political system they live under makes very little
difference to their lives. Once you live in poverty, and have to spend
all your time surviving, it's not easy getting the energy or willpower
together to do something about the running of your country.
It's how the puppet US regimes like Iraq, Israel, El Salvador, South
Africa under apartheid, Nicaragua, Grenada, Iran under the Shah and so
on all managed to survive.
You probably agree with Kerry that Bin Laden would have been captured

instead of the brown skinned locals.
There goes that skin colour fetish of yours again. You really should
seek help in fixing that.
Again, filtering out your obsession with skin colour, do I think Bin
Laden should have been sorted out using special forces? Absolutely I
do. He is the problem, sort him out.
But don't use US special forces, use a more professional team like the
SAS. There are too many cowboys in the US teams that rely on their
fancy black helicopters and sunglasses (Mogadishu anyone?). They are
enthusiastic amateurs.
Do you also agree that the
Iraqis fighting on the side of the provisional Iraqi government should
not be considered part of the coalition and when they are killed not
counted as a percentage of the total dead?
Iraq is not part of the coalition, so no, I would not include their
people as part of the coalition bodycount. I would include them as
part of the civilian bodycount, except the US isn't *keeping* a
civilian bodycount as it is too politically embarrassing.
Paul.

there YOU go again, the people in these countries ( kind of idiotic to
put Israel in the list. It is certainly the dog and the US is the
tail! ) dont have the will or ability to resist American domination.
Why dont you include England or Germany in your list? The governments
of those countries would not survive if the US was opposed to them.
They could also be called puppets of the US.
You probably agree with Kerry that Bin Laden would have been captured
if only the white American "special forces" had been used in the fight
instead of the brown skinned locals.
People like Allawi, the Shia who have been historically suppressed by
the Sunni, these are people who have been fighting the Baathists for
years. Now they are part of the coalition fighting to put down the
Sunni resistance.
I would include them as
part of the civilian bodycount, except the US isn't *keeping* a
civilian bodycount as it is too politically embarrassing.
What with the left jumping on every bad event to deliberately
discredit the campaign, who could blame them.

We/they are. Germany are growing out of it thank goodness. We, sadly,
aren't. We'll be doing something about that at the next election.
