day when 16-year-old Atefeh Rajabi was dragged from her prison cell
and taken to be executed.
Every step of the way the troubled teenager plagued by mental problems
shouted "repentance, repentance" as the militiamen marched her to the
town's Railway Square.
The Iranian judge who had sentenced Atefeh to death was left unmoved
as he personally put the noose around her neck and signalled to the
crane driver.

Well the Bush plan is to put MORE power into the hands
of the religious whack jobs, in the belief that they (Bush &
clowns) can control them, and the whack jobs in turn can
make moderation stick because of their "Moral" authority.
The truly scary thing here is that I'm not kidding....
Turn over the entire middle east to the Islamic extremists,
then get them to preach moderation because they can
make it stick while the secular authorities can not.
So in a few years when every middle eastern state looks
a lot like Iran, and nuclear weapons are exploding in
Europe and the United States, be sure to blame Clinton
and vote for Jeb!

horrific. The coldness of these people, murdering their own children,
siblings, etc. I just don't understand it :(

Of course he was because he's doing it for political reasons to set an
example. Also, he's a religious nutcase. I mean what the hell do you
expect. Religions often talk a good game about mercy and love and
forgiveness. But, in the end, that takes a back seat to persecuting
people for rule infractions. If they didn't have the persecution, nobody
would take the religion seriously and the cycle of lunacy would soon
flame out.
Plus, many religious types seem to derive pleasure from the suffering of
others. That's why serial killers like Dennis Raeder were drawn to
church.
