You believe the astronomical size of the universe somehow disproves
God, as if God needed a tiny universe in order to exist.

Yet this same big god you believe in recoiled in horror when a tribe of people
fresh out of the neolithic started building a tower out of mud bricks because
it might reach up to heaven?

He wasn't a lot of use against a few tribesmen, with iron chariots, either.

It's just that I find that wasteful. We basically only need the solar
system. There's *zero* need for anything else. We are scrambling to find
energy, yet your "god" creates a universe a trillion times bigger than
needs be.
Your "god" is one big idiot.

More straw, please.
What precludes the existence of God is the shape, rather than the size
of the universe. Geocentrism, and therefore your creator, was disproved
490 years ago. Of course it won't stop you, or any other monotheist
believing in 'Him' because your perversity and your capacity for
ignoring facts know no bounds.
BTW, your Bible just got thoroughly debunked by a theologist, Robert
Beckford:

On 27 Dec 2004 04:14:23 -0800,

leaned back in the alt.atheism beanbag and drunkenly proclaimed the
following

You believe the astronomical size of the universe somehow disproves
God, as if God needed a tiny universe in order to exist.
{See the first item in this series for URL}

I've never heard anyone claim that before.

On 27 Dec 2004, dropped trou, farted, whirled, then shouted:

You believe the astronomical size of the universe somehow disproves

This idea is too stupid even for a theist to condure up. Who are you,
anyway?

That's because you never put any thought into your atheism, vs. Somebody set the hook in
your mouth and pulled you right out of the freedom of the water.
