1st Law of Atheist Debate. |
By the powers of a long time alt.atheist denizen and
all around net wise guy I am hereby stating the
First Law of Atheist Debate.
This law is forever hereafter to be known as the First Law of
Atheist Debate and all Atheists here are expected to learn it.
And the first law of Atheist debate is...
"One empty and unsupported assertion is the exact equal of any
other empty and unsupported assertion."
Thus "God exists!" is the exact equal of the assertion "God does not
exist!' or "The Easter bunny exists!" or "the Easter Bunny exists but your
god does not exist!". If they expect us to take their empty assertions
seriously, they must agree to take our empty assertions seriously
to show us how it is done. Teaching by example.

The problem is that they're usually the ones to start it. Eg with
accusations of closed-mindedness when you don't want to know. It's
because it's an evangelising religion that turns them into
sociopathswho imagine they _have_ to tell you.

1. Anyone can be a Christian; The only requirement is John 3:16.
2. All Christians are messengers
3. The messenger is not responsible for the message. (The Word is so
powerful that the messenger's only responsibility to disseminate it;
not defend it--that is the responsibility of the Church.)
5. All Christians are authorized to proselyte.
6. Anyone who refuses the message is beyond contempt and should be
treated appropriately thereafter.....

Actually they're not the same.
"It doesn't" is the falsifiable default.

Exactly. It is much more precise to say that "God defies precise
definition, therefore it is meaningless to even ask if he exists or not!",
or "It is possible that God exists, but extremely unlikely based on
current knowledge!"
