2 Corinthians 9: 6-11. 6-20-2007. |
God's Indescribable Gift.
Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and
whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each must do as
already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a
cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant
for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may
have an abundance for every good work. As it is written:
"He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever."
----------------
Also reaad:
Matthew 6: 1-6, 16-18.
Psalm 112: 1-4, 9.

Nice little saying
Each must do as
already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a
cheerful giver.
Who determines?
Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant
for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may
have an abundance for every good work.
So you'll never go hungry or lack shelter?
As it is written:
"He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever."
Yet there are starving and dying millions throughout the world .. guess God
sows extremely sparingly

Consider this:
If there is no description then there is no comprehension. If
there is no comprehension then there is no meaning.
... for God loves a
cheerful giver.
Whatever. According to the mythology, God loves EVERYONE.
Moreover, God is able to make every grace abundant
for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may
have an abundance for every good work.
Or your deity could cut out the middleman, leading to all round
improvements in efficiency and quality.
As it is written:
"He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever."
< chuckle! >
And as Christ said: "For ye have the poor always with you ...".
How very righteous, indeed.

Josef
