Islamic terrorism. We are militarily present in Afghanistan and Iran, and our
friend Israel to the west.
Militarily speaking, we are right there on their land right in the middle of
them. And we are carrying the battle to their lands away from ours.

Israel isn't going to hold the 'western section'. The Palestinians are a few
small settlements of people with no real government, practically no
weapons, and no food and clothing, and Israel can't even handle them. If
Egypt alone decided they wanted to take Israel they could do it almost as
quickly as we took Iraq, Israel is incapable of holding off anything.

Just look what they did to
the Soviets. I agree with Bush on exactly one point - We have to get Iraq
and Afghanistan running on their own and get the hell out of there ASAP.
If you think Bush is planning to hold onto that land after he's made his
money on it you haven't been paying attention.
No, I see no likelyhood that we will physically occupy those lands any longer
than necessary.
Israel isn't going to hold the 'western section'. The Palestinians are a few
small settlements of people with no real government, practically no
weapons, and no food and clothing, and Israel can't even handle them.
Israel has been playing by "decency rules". They're already starting out to
attack foreign nations like Syria for their inaction on terrorism. The US is on
one side, and Israel on the other - Syria is close to a real bad situation.
When some crazed palestinian animal blows up 20 kids on a bus, Israel destroys
a house. It won't be long, following another butchering of innocent kids,
before someone throws a dart at a Palestinian town, and then destroys everything
within 1/2 mile radius of where the dart stuck. Give the residents 1 hour to
clear out.
If
Egypt alone decided they wanted to take Israel they could do it almost as
quickly as we took Iraq, Israel is incapable of holding off anything.
That must be by Israel defeated Egypt on every preceeding war. However, Egypt
is not a terrorist state like Syria.
I see the free democratic world occupying key intersections in the Middle East.
That will put a virtual stop to terrorism.
