20 Questions For Atheists |
Hi Alll,
I'm at work, so gotta keep this brief. I find it amazing how ignorant
Creationists are of the atheist position. They ask Grand Questions and
expect us to have the answer! They expect us atheists to have solved
every riddle of existence. How is it possible for us to reach a
conclusion, such as answering for ourselves how existence got started?
Simply because we choose to not fabricate answers to difficult or
unknowable questions lends no credibility to their suppositions of
creator gods.
Then you have stupid "questions" like this:
"How could organs as complicated as the eye or the ear or the brain of
even a tiny bird ever come about by chance or natural processes? How
could a bacterial motor evolve?"
First, and this is the most irritating misconception about evolutionary
theory, is that they look at one component of evolution - that
occasionally random mutations in DNA cause new characteristics - and
these poor people get all confused. They then think that evolution is
"random" or based on "random chance." There is nothing "random" about
evolution. In the same way that humans can take a wolf (10,000 years
ago) and breed a chiwawa through artifical selection, nature can make
similar changes without external intervention through natural (i.e.
undirected) forces. And on the question of organ development - another
thing that these people need to understand is that complex
macroevolution effectively plateaued 300 MILLION years ago. That is to
say, animals alive 300 million years ago were likely just as
biologically complex as animals today. Ever since, what can basically
be observed is variations on a common biological theme. (Obviously its
a lot more complex than can be described in a few words...) The basic
building blocks of evolution happened rapidly early in the development
of life on Earth. Consider that trillions upon trillions of organisms,
big and small, lived and died.
That's also not to say that asking the question "how did complex organs
develop" is not a very good question. It is! And we may not understand
how complex organs developed. But just because we don't know, now, how
these organs developed does NOT mean we should say "well, it's obvious -
god did it. It's too complex to really worry about, and since Godly
things are beyond human comprehension we really shouldn't worry too much
about it."

Well, you atheists wannabe's are the ones that deny/reject the existence of God.
You certainly have no proof nor any evidence to support such a belief.
An agnostic is uncertain of the evidence. An atheist wannabe is just plain
stupid.
Anything else?

Right on cue, another creationist moron completely ignorant of the atheist
position.
An agnostic is uncertain of the evidence. An atheist wannabe is just
plain
stupid.
And he earns extra points for being ignorant of the agnostic position!
Anything else?
Yeah, you're a fucktard, Duke.

Deny/reject, meaning we do not believe. We are without belief.
You certainly have no proof nor any evidence to support such a belief.
How, exactly, do we believe a lack of belief?
Idiot.

We like to keep our list of things we believe in because there is no
evidence of their non-existence as short as possible, so we just don't
believe by default. Show some evidence that a god *does* exist, and we
will be happy to reconsider our position. Until then, enjoy your belief
in gods, leprechauns, unicorns, china teapots orbiting the sun, flying
pigs on the dark side of the moon, etc, etc, etc...
