of them like Americans. So that means that about 23 Million are expendable.

The Aggies had won six straight since a 41-21 season-opening loss at=20
Utah to climb to 16th in the country. There was talk of ESPN=92s Game Day=

coming to College Station next week if Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State and=20
A&M took care of Baylor.
Game Day probably will be headed elsewhere.
Baylor (3-5, 1-4) set the tone early, in almost Aggie-like fashion.
Baylor=92s defense attacked A&M=92s offense all night, putting lots of=20
pressure on McNeal, forcing him to make quick decisions. Baylor had four=20
sacks; A&M had allowed only five in the previous seven games.
A&M had a punt blocked, threw an interception and lost two fumbles. The=20
Aggies, ranked No. 1 in the nation in turnover margin, had one turnover=20
in the previous seven games.
Baylor=92s offense, which was tied with SMU for last in the nation in=20
turnover margin, didn=92t have a turnover. The Bears were operating with=20
backup quarterback Shawn Bell. He was replacing Dane King, who was lost=20
last week with a season-ending injury.
=93Give credit to Baylor. They executed very well,=94 A&M head coach Dennis=

Bell, a sophomore, was magnificent in Baylor=92s spread offense. He=20
completed 32 of 50 passes for 262 yards and four touchdowns. His=20
favorite target was sophomore Zeigler, who had 12 catches for 121 yards=20
and two scores.
Zeigler was money down the stretch. He had only three catches for 12=20
yards through three quarters but was unstoppable in the fourth quarter=20
and overtime.
A&M, which was a 24-point favorite, never trailed in regulation, but the=20
Aggies couldn=92t put away the pesky Bears.
Baylor, which had lost four straight =97 three by at least 20 points =97 =
=20
played a good first half but hurt itself with mistakes.
Baylor had a 20-play, 77-yard drive that ended in a missed 20-yard field=20
goal. Baylor fumbled back a fumble it caused just before the half. Then=20
three plays later, the Bears committed a personal foul in the end zone=20
on the half=92s last play. That gave A&M another snap, and the Aggies=92=20
Layne Neumann hit a 46-yard field goal for a 13-3 halftime lead.
This time, the Bears didn=92t go into hibernation.
A blocked punt led to a 45-yard Kenny Webb field goal, then an=20
interception by Baylor=92s Braelon Davis led to a 2-yard touchdown pass=20
from Bell to Marque Roberts with 5 minutes, 3 seconds left in the third=20
quarter. That tied it at 13, and it was a donneybrook the rest of the=20
way.
A&M took the lead three straight times, but each time Baylor answered.
Finally, the Bears took a timeout after their score in overtime and=20
opted to go for the victory instead of a second overtime.
=93It was kind of a gut feeling,=94 Morriss said. =93Our kids were getting=
=20
tired with cramps, so we wanted to drive the nail in the coffin. We=20
wanted to end it then, and we dropped the hammer on them.=94
It was Morriss=92 biggest victory in his second year at Baylor. He had=20
turned the Kentucky program around in his second year before leaving his=20
first head coaching job.

turnaround at A&M coming into the game"
