28 Women Miscarry After Receiving HPV Vaccine Gardasil; FDA Says No Reason
to Re-Examine Approval
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the cervical cancer vaccine
Gardasil is safe despite that 28 U.S. women who received the vaccination had
miscarriages, CNSnews.com reports.
There have been 3,461 adverse reactions, including eight deaths, reported
since the vaccine was approved for use in girls as young as 9 in June 2006.
The FDA and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have concluded
most side effects are minor and believe there is no reason to re-examine the
drug's approval.

28 Women Miscarry After Receiving HPV Vaccine Gardasil;

That's all? Why, 10 to 20% of all women who know that they
are pregnant miscarry in the first 20 weeks, with the total
figure (expanded to include women who didn't know they were
pregnant) estimated to be 31%...
http://patients.uptodate.com/topic.asp?file=pregnan/5386
So unless you're claiming that less than 100 women have
recieved the vaccine then gotten pregnant, the figure you
cite is a little on the low side.

Really? Because 31% of women who did not recieve the
vaccine miscarried:
: One study that followed women's hormone levels every
: day in order to detect very early pregnancy found a total
: pregnancy loss rate of 31 percent.
http://patients.uptodate.com/topic.asp?file=pregnan/5386
So you're saying that, in addition to protecting women from
cervical cancer, the HPV vaccine will make it less likely
that they will miscarry!
Only a death merchant would be against the vaccine...

I don't imagine that many ladies would thank you for telling them that
you thought their lives were unimportant and that their only purpose
was to bear children.

You are a fucking scumbag and have some nerve to think you have
anything to offer to womankind, let alone some kind of sage advice.
This drug has been used by hundreds of thousands of individuals,
making the miscarry rate of people who have used it the same as the
national average. What you lack, unfortunately, is a basic knowledge
of statistics and the ability to think for yourself (it's oikay,
religion does that to people.)
Besides, you seem to think that a (normal) number of miscarriages is
reason to avoid a drug that could SAVE YOU FROM CANCER.
Are you REALLY as much of an idiot as you appear? I can't help but
think you're just some twelve-year-old who thinks he's being funny.
When your balls drop, you can start posting here.
Meanwhile, I'm editing my Greasemonkey script to strip your posts and
comments out of Google Groups.
Good riddance.

28 out of HOW MANY?
By the way, the HPV vaccine is 99% effective in preventing a deadly

And how many would have miscarried anyway? I bet lots of women
miscarry after driving Toyotas and eating ice cream.
